In the latest episode of Film Stories with Simon Brew, Simon looks at one of the 1990s' most infamous blockbusters, and a winning adaptation of a recent bestseller.
With a new extended cut now on Blu-ray, it's slightly clearly how 1995's Waterworld could have gone. But its producer realised the sheer scale of the project when it took three people to lift the model of the set into his office!
Wonder (2017) had a less testing journey, but still went through a few writers and directors before it became a hit.
Stories of both are discussed in this episode...
