    This week’s speakers:

    Genevieve Gluck - USA

Porn and Q&A about Women's Voices and Reduxx.

Bio: Writer, co-founder of REDUXX, founder of Women’s Voices.

    Lynne Harne - UK

Positively lesbian - background; why the website is needed; language;;content, way forward

Bio: Lynne Harne is a lesbian feminist activist and a founder member of the Lesbian Rights Alliance, an organisation campaigning to stop lesbian erasure. Recently she has been working with a small group of younger lesbians to create a website and youth project aimed at young lesbians, now known as PositivelyLesbian.org

    Ananda Castano - Spain

Organising lesbian feminism in Spain: obstacles and progress - I will talk about the problems we face as lesbians in the feminist community, the threats and invasions transactivism supposes and some projects we have started in order to overcome all this. Erasure, ostracism and hostility towards lesbians are still a not-aknowledged issue in almost every domain of a lesbian's life. This is even more overt in the case of lesbian feminism. For lesbians to be able to organise ourselves, we must adress this issue and develop strategies to confront it. In Spain we have started several projects which seek to bring lesbian feminist consciousness back for lesbians and for every woman.  We have created an independent radical feminist press, consciousness-rising groups, international and national activist groups and local feminist groups with a strong lesbian feminist pressence. We have created spaces for the spread and discussion of lesbian feminism.  We have been writting, bonding and creating.

Bio: Lesbian feminist activist from Spain. 29 years old woman with disabilities and chronic illnesses, lesbian separatist writer and poet. Currently working on the radical feminist press, Labrys Editorial. Member of RadFem Sevilla, and lesbian feminists groups like (Re)acción lésbica, Lesbianas de la Munda and the consciousness-rising group Reflexión Lésbica.

    This week’s speakers:

    Kara Dansky - USA

The American GRA - The US Congress is considering a bill called the Global Respect Act (not coincidentally, GRA). It would bar entry to the US of "foreign people" who engaged in "other flagrant denial of the right to life, liberty, or the security of [LGBTQI] persons," or "acted as an agent of or on behalf of a foreign person" in doing so. This might be a way of denying entry to the USA to those who do not believe in gender identity ideology.

Bio: Kara Dansky is a public speaker, writer, and consultant who is committed to protecting the rights, privacy, and safety of women and girls on the basis of sex in law and throughout society. In November 2021, she published the ground-breaking work The Abolition of Sex: How the ‘Transgender’ Agenda Harms Women and Girls. She currently serves as President of the U.S. chapter of Women’s Declaration International (WDI), which seeks to promote the Declaration on Women's Sex-Based Rights. She served on the board of the Women's Liberation Front from 2016 to 2020. Kara is also an attorney with a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a B.A. from the Johns Hopkins University, and an extensive background in criminal justice law and policy.

Green Party - Green party position on women's sex based rights

Bio: co-chair of the Green Party of England and Wale’s women’s committee

    Arussi Unda - Mexico

Sexual and reproductive exploitation in Mexico: The only political scenario when they suddenly know what a woman is. - The Supreme Court, political parties and the President of the Equality Commission are pushing “the women’s right to sell their bodies” in the worst time to be a women in Mexico ever.

Bio: Woman speaker of “Las Brujas Del Mar” (Witches of the Sea) feminist collective from Veracruz, Mexico.

    Hale Akay - Turkey

Women confronting trans(queer) feminism in Turkey - I will talk on behalf of, but not as a representative of, a group of women who are being intimidated, harassed and threatened first on social media, now even in IWD demonstration, because they oppose transfeminism in Turkey. I will talk about the dynamics that made intersectional feminism as the mainstream approach, how the debate around gender identity and trans rights escalated in the past three years and pushed some feminists to organize among themselves to resist this ideological capture.

Bio: I'm a former academic, now working as an independent researcher in the UK. I worked in human rights organisations for years both as a voluntary and a professional. For the last 3 years, I have been active especially on social media in debates concerning trans rights.

Feminist Question Time with speakers from USA, Canada and UK

Women's Declaration International (WDI) Feminist Question Time is our weekly online webinars. It is attended by a global feminist and activist audience of between 200-300. The main focus is how gender ideology is harming the rights of women and girls. You can see recordings of previous panels on our YouTube Channel.

    This week’s speakers:

    Mother of Swimmer - USA

Mother of young woman who swims for Ivy League speaks out

    Cynthia Millen - USA

How can the Ivy League be so stupid? In sports, but especially in swimming, bodies compete against bodies. Boys and men will always have immutable advantages over girls and women in terms of lung capacity, skeletal size, increased circulation, and the number of fast twitch muscles. No amount of testosterone suppression will change this, and boys/men who are equally trained will always win over girls/women. This is why swimming has always been divided by sex. Men don't magically become women because they've lowered their testosterone, and it is an insult to all women for any man or organization to support this line of thinking. Furthermore, women and girls deserve privacy and the opportunity to share their uniquely feminine biological/hormonal/psychological experiences with other women and girls. It is degrading to permit biological males into women's locker rooms. Most importantly, girls deserve the opportunity to play to win. It is patronizing to girls to expect them to deny their dreams. By permitting biological men to compete against women, we are pushing girls back to the sidelines and out of the competition.

Bio: Former County Prosecutor (B.C.-- before children) now children's book author (C.M.Millen). Married for 40 years and Mother of 5 who was a national swim official (USA Swimming, NCAA, International Paralympic) for over 30 years. Women are not men with low testosterone.

    Coach Linda Blade - Canada

Update on Will Thomas and the Struggle to Save Women's Sports By now the entire world of sports knows about Will Thomas, the male swimmer at University of Pennsylvania who self-identifies as a woman and has now dominated women's NCAA swimming races. The question is: What impact has this had on the continued struggle to establish boundary lines for fairness and safety in women's sports? Will advocates for female sports finally be given a seat at the table when international sports federations re-examine their trans inclusion and eligibility policies? The answer offers a glimmer of hope in the midst of this bleak situation.

Bio: Linda Blade is a former National Champion of Canada in track & field (heptathlon) with a PhD in Kinesiology. For the past 26 years, she has run a private consulting business as “Sport Performance Professional” coach in Edmonton, Alberta working with athletes in over 15 sports (beginner to elite). Since 2014, Linda has also served as President of the Board for Athletics Alberta, where she has a duty to represent the province of Alberta at Canadian national sport policy meetings. In a bid to increase public awareness of the threat posed by gender ideology, Linda has partnered with journalist Barbara Kay to author a new book, titled: UNSPORTING: How Trans Activism and Science Denial are Destroying Sport.

    Emma Hilton - UK

Fairness in female sports - after Tokyo Review of historic rules, latest news on fairness from UK and IOC, case study of swimming.

Bio: Academic developmental biologist, director of Sex Matters, special interest in fairness in sports, consultant with sports federations, author of one of the most popular scientific papers ever published (COVID aside)
