When it comes to dealing with conflict most people fall into one of two categories: they love it or they hate it and avoid it at all costs. While there may be wisdom to being patient and waiting some conflicts out, the reality is there are some conflicts that cannot and should not be avoided and to do so would only bring further harm to all parties involved. Sometimes the most loving thing we can do is face conflict with love and a game plan. Today we look at when the early church faced one of its first internal conflicts, the response of the Apostles, and eight ways we can model how we handle conflict Biblically.

From its birth the church has been on trial. The death of Stephen because of his unwavering faith became a catalyst for the spread of the Gospel to the rest of the world. What one group meant for harm, God used to usher in hope and new life. Today Pastor Jason Jones looks at the life, death and legacy of one of the Church's first deacons, Stephen, and how his story is still shaping the modern day Church.

What is the role of the Christian in the life of politics? What are some ways Christians can engage the political process, use their voice well, and exercise their faith as bold and effective witnesses in the Public Square? Today we take a look at the role of the Church in the State and how Christians might use their political position to love God well and love their neighbors deeply!

History and traditions are important in our story as they always remind us who we are, Whose we are, and where we come from. Pastor Francis Chan once said, "Our greatest fear should not be of failure but of succeeding at things in life that don't really matter." Joy is often talked about in Christianity but is it really possible? What about when things are falling apart? What about when plans don't go according to plan? Everyone wants to believe they’re a humble individual, but the reality is we are all often far less humble than we realize. What we believe to be helpful, honest, encouraging, or even worshipful is often more self-serving than self-sacrificing. Today we look at the difference between Biblical Humility (Wisdom) and False humility (Foolishness) because without humility there can be no worship. And without worship, we will never fully realize why we breathe.
