What if faith was not just a onetime decision, but a series of decisions over the course of our life? Each of those decisions serves as a proverbial fork-in-the-road, but are all paths equal? Should we choose the “path less traveled”? Carve our own path? Go with the status quo? Which path will lead to a more meaningful and full life of faith and satisfaction? Today we look at what Proverbs says about the paths we take, and which ones lead to life and which ones lead to ruin.

Proverbs 22:6 is easily the most popular proverb for raising children. For some parents, it has been a verse of encouragement. For others, a challenging verse. And, still, for others one that leads some to feel a sense of guilt. Today, Pastor Jason Jones helps parents find direction in raising children in Christ as well as how to find healing and hope when things don't go as planned.

Proverbs 3:5 - "Trust God and lean not on your own understanding." This is easily one of the most popular Proverbs in Scripture, but while this verse decorates the walls of our homes, we often 'reverse the verse' and choose to "lean into" that which we trust most: ourselves and the voices of others. When we live in and from wisdom, however, we begin to see it as a posture of worship and faith. Today we take a look at what it means to "lean in" toward God as a posture of worship.

"Choose your friends wisely" is something all parents tell their children growing up. However, it isn't a message just for kids or teens. Every day adults, likewise, allow a multitude of voices into their world that seek to influence their allegiances, opinions, thoughts, and ultimately, their worship. All voices are welcome, but not all voices are good. Today we look at what it means to walk in wisdom as we choose the voices and company we allow to have access to our hearts.

Today we look at what it is to flourish in this life with our eyes set on the Kingdom to come. When Jesus taught about the Kingdom of Heaven in the Sermon on the Mount, was the goal simply to make the world a better place? Social justice? Civil discourse? Humanism? Make people spiritual people? Or did He have something even bigger in mind? This is the last sermon in the Flourish Sermon Series.
