    When someone is considering a podcast as a medium, how do they know if it’s for them?
    “I’ve always been really conscious of the power of podcast. I think at the time, it was just another thing I needed to do. I think the main thing for me was just fitting it into the day and finding the time to record the episodes and have them edited to get the resources together.”
    How complicated is it to do a podcast?
    “For me, the technical stuff was a bit of a challenge, but we should not be afraid of technology. For some reason, I just lost a paradigm around the recording that I struggled with. It did impact on the early episodes, but we overcame it. It’s a learning process. My philosophy around has been just trying to get better. Every episode, I’m just trying to get better than the last. I put useful contents that people enjoy. Hopefully they’ll forgive some of my shortcomings in the technical level.”
    What are the most important things to consider when investing through your business podcast?

    * The first one is having a really interesting conversation with really interesting people.
    * For me, the worth it questions extends beyond the commercial return.

    When someone is considering a podcast as a medium, how do they know if it’s for them?
    “There are some people that aren’t naturally inclined, they’re not happy having conversations. However, most people who are entrepreneurial in nature tend to be quite comfortable having discussions. Because, at the end of the day, two mates having a talk is what this is all about. We haven’t sat down and intimately planned what we are going to say, but hopefully people got some really good value out of it. To me, that’s the most important thing.
    “To anybody listening right now, we cannot have a more ultimate type of conversation, and there’s no better form of marketing and getting to know somebody than having a conversation with them. And a podcast allows you to do that. In this day and age, it’s so much easier to do and it’s improving all the time.”
    What are the most important things to consider to make money online through podcasting?

    * The way you deliver value to your audience. You are providing pain relievers to your audience. They have problems, challenges… they have complaints. So, in your podcast, if you can be a great provider of pain relievers to those problems, you’re getting engagement. You’re going to build your tribe.
    * If you can show people how to move from where they are to where they want to be in your podcast, then you’re getting engagement. You’re providing value by definition.

    * Adam Houlahan’s marketing course on LinkedIn
    * The three basic things to learn LinkedIn platform.

    * Moving people off your social profile
    * Providing LinkedIn free courses
    * The traction marketing model and how it actually works
    * The power of reciprocity
    * The blogging platform which also gets a lot of views

    What are the most important things to consider to leverage LinkedIn Marketing ?

    * You can really drawdown on who you’re trying to connect with. If you’re trying to implement traction marketing process, you can connect with these people. Have a conversation with them and have them interviewed. That’s one example of how you can really drawdown with LinkedIn to connect with people you want to interview.
    * What about if you wanted to just get people to subscribe to your podcast? It’s basically the same thing but you would change the summary to be attractive. By doing that, you’ll then also change the links. So, you’re linking through to the sign up process on your podcast. As you do more episodes, you add more links and more credibility. People are then able to see what your podcast episode is about. They can easily get linked through, sign up and watch one of the courses. Then you’ve got them on your list. That’s the key point as you need to move people off your social profile.
    * If you’re really serious about using LinkedIn as a real tool, you do need to operate. Using the business plus is the lowest level of the paid version you can get. It’s not overly expensive. It allows you to view more profiles.

I just think that if you don’t understand the psyche that consumes those things, how are you going to build something or create something for them? So, I do think that’s the first clue if someone’s wondering if it’s for them.
