In this episode we discuss our gratitude for the support of our first event, reflect on season 3 and being 27. we also share our intentions for season 4 and for our own personal new years.
Reflection Questions
What have been the high point and low point of the past year?
Where has the time gone? What have you spent most of your time doing?
Are you living up to your potential?
How does another year sound?
10 years ago we graduated high school, class 007 (shaken not stirred *wink*). With that being said we decided to take a stroll down memory lane and share with one another things our 17 year old selves were doing, songs we liked, shows we watched. We share dreams we had for ourselves by this time in our lives and just how far off we are in some areas.
Though we may be getting older you know our Black is doing anything but cracking! This is the last episode of Season 3 and we are so thankful to have made it through another one.

Many of us set goals. By 18 I hope to be _____. By 22 I hope to be _______ and by 25 my life will drastically be different. This week we discuss all of those set plans through the lens of a Thought Catalog Article. We invite Candice aka Lil Miss Ent into the conversation.

Remember Beyonce’s self titled album and how everyone was all excited about her proclaiming her feminism through that? This week we break down what feminism is to us. how it may (or may not be) misinterpreted and Chimamanda Adichie's confession that she was not in favor of how her speech was intergrated with Beyoncé's Flawless all with the help of Noushky of breakingdenmanbrushes.wordpress.com

There's a stigma that black men typically show up for women of different races (other than Black) much quicker than they would for Black women. There is also the stigma that Black women are too strong, have too much attitude and are just too much in general.
This week with help from Alicia of Cubicle & Curls we break down the stigma of Black women not being "coachable"

We decided to have this episode follow our Black Entrepreneurial Series because entrepreneurship is so glamorized. Most people will tell you the upside to it. The other side can be the difficulties and hardships that come with entrepreneurship. Although this episode isn't specifically about entrepreneurship it is about a real life experience that people typically do not open up about. We talk about being (financially) privileged and what it can be like to lose that privilege. Homelessness is a real thing and we break it down here.
