Roger and Annie are back with a season three prediction episode. We talk about which SATC characters we are for some reason.

Note: this episode was recorded before the killing of George Floyd and subsequent protests against police brutality. We address this at the top of the episode but it bears repeating here: Black Lives Matter. It is not lost on us that the show we discuss has, at its center, a racist organization and the program itself features a majority white cast. We plan to devote an episode to covering this more fully and are committed to centering BIPOC voices in that discussion.

Annie and Roger discuss "This is Not For Tears," the final episode of season two. This is the last episode of HBO's Succession currently available, but don't worry, Annie and Roger will still be here for you during the hiatus. Stay tuned!

Kendall's arc comes to a satisfying conclusion this season, and everyone is on a boat, which is fun. Something is up with Greg's feet but his nose for self-preservation is fully operational. Roman makes Logan proud, and Shiv proves she's unwilling to betray Tom to get what she wants. Tom, though, is sad and ten episodes later, he verbalized it. Willa throws an iPad into the sea, which, looking back, is one of the more reasonable things she's done lately. We here for you.

We're down to the last two episodes of season two! But we still here for you. Annie and Roger recap "DC," season two episode nine of HBO's Succession. The gang heads to Congressional hearings to answer for the cruises scandal. Tom melts down, Washington Ken comes out swinging, and Shiv is asked to push her moral limits. Logan thinks it may be time for a "blood sacrifice," which is a normal and cool way to discuss the family business. Hopefully the blood isn't Roman's.

We head to Dundee for season two episode eight of HBO's Succession. Rhea serves up some Megan Draper energy by throwing Logan a surprise party he most certainly doesn't want. Shiv may be down but she's not out. The Roy siblings briefly align to take Rhea down a peg, and the gang honors Logan's 50 years in media with increasing cringe. Roman purchases the wrong football team and Kendall, well, we see how he chooses to honor Logan. Marcia is bored and we here for you.
