It's always a good time on We Talk Comics when our pal Nick Johnson (Wishless, Wolf Hands) visits the show and shares a few laughs, and we're pretty sure you all will love this episode, the debut of a new WTC concept called Geekin' Out!

This leads to a great discussion about Morrison's work on New X-Men, Batman, Animal Man, All Star Superman, Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth, Doom Patrol, Aztek: The Ultimate Man, The Flash, JLA/WildC.A.T.S., DC One Million and Skull Kill Krew, and we just scratched the surface.

Dec 7, 2016 is the 75th anniversary of the attack by Japan on Pearl Harbor and We Talk Comics is proud to be joined by military historian Jay Wertz.

It must near the holiday season because We Talk Comics have the gift of Vic Malhotra for you.

Vic is the fantastic artist on books like Roche Limit from Image, Joe Hill’s Thumbprint, X-Files: Year Zero and his latest book The Killer Inside Me with Jill Thompson.

But Vic isn’t here to talk about his own work, he’s actually here with us to share some of his favorite comics he loves to read and that have influenced him, and to get the opinions on those books of WTC hosts Mo, Chris and Brett.

And you thought the horror comics from Halloween were scary…

The American Presidential Election is, blissfully, almost over after only 417 years of campaigning, and on behalf of everyone in the world outside of cable news stations and Saturday Night I just want to say… Thank Grodd.

With that in mind Brett, Chris and Mo talk some politics, but not typical politics (though admittedly they get in a shot at Trump or two) but politics in comic books like:

The difference between how Marvel and DC handle the political world.

How politics were presented in mainstream comics in the past compared to today.

The difference between a comic in a political setting and one making a political statement.

And to get the conversation started the guys read Captain America #250, Checkmate, Citizen Jack, and Prez from both 1973 and the recent incarnation.

We Talk Comics is a scary good time with our new episodes looking at some horror themed books.

PS Magazine is the US Army’s technical bulletin and features and art from legendary comic figures like Mike Ploog, Joe Kubert and Will Eisner, whose studio produced the magazine for years. It’s the most interesting way to learn how to keep your Jeep in running condition you’re likely to find.
