James Cridland is a Radio Futurologist.

James is also a writer, consultant and public speaker on radio’s future.

James has previously worked at BBC and Virgin Radio.

I first heard of James when I went to Podcast Movement where he opened up the podcast pit basically in Los Angeles. Introducing Will Ferrell to the stage, I wondered who he was.

James was kind enough to feature us in the newsletter as a podcasting in the wild for advertising when we did the collaboration with friend and guest of the show Ryan Evans. The wheatpaste campaign was all over in Philly but we also did a campaign with friend and future guest of the show Nikko Gary of Wear Many Hats posters all around Brooklyn and Manhattan.

Naeem is a musician.

I met Naeem over a decade ago in Philly where we used to party like nobody’s business but it was everybody’s business. If you weren’t partying like we were partying 10 years ago. Dude you’re late.

Formerly known as Spank Rock, Naeem has performed with so many of the greats but one that I found out was with Bjork and that friend and guest of the show Christian Schwartz has been to at the Apollo.

Where was I? I was being a little virgin probably learning how to drive.

Naeem did a banger EP with Benny Blanco called Bangers & Cash and has also collaborated with best friend Amanda Blank, Santigold, Diplo, Bon Iver, and Boys Noize.

I love you Naeem let's go back to India and see the Taj Mahal.

Dave Haller and Andrew Fatato founded a creative agency called Major. 

Major’s clients include Showtime, Samsung, and Asics.

Dave and Andrew also created Drugs for Plants and Handbook for Hacks.

This is perfect for this podcast because we love plants that are drugs and hacking the system.

I met Dave when I was wheatpasting for my creative agency, and the host of this podcast, Dahsar, for one of my best friends and clients, Commercial Type, on their new series, the Vault featuring 17 years of unreleased typefaces. You can find the photos we took and ads in the latest issue of Eye Magazine.

Dave noticed that he uses those typefaces over at Major and we caught up, took his photo and the rest was history.

Brendan Lowry is the founder and Creative Director of Rory, a creative agency which helps brands from all over the planet do cool things on the internet and, sometimes, in the real world.

Allyson Camitta is a musician and music producer based in NYC. You may know her with fellow producer Ezra Tenebaum making up the duo, Shallowhalo.

Shallowhalo released a record called ‘No Fun’ in 2022 that features Harrison Patrick Smith of Turtlenecked, where Allyson also played synth in as well who Harrison is known as The Dare on “Party Hop."

That is what I did during Shallowhalo’s single release party for “Renaissance Affair” which was held upstairs at the speakeasy called Old Flings above my favorite bar venue, Berlin. Harrison and Allyson were doing a B2B set while bringing NYC back.

Pioneers of this Indiesleaze comeback, a renaissance affair as you will.

Arielle Nissenblatt is an audio producer, podcast marketing consultant.

In 2017 Arielle started the EarBuds Podcast Collective, a podcast recommendation newsletter. Jean-Luc is a musician, content creator, and a fashion icon on the rise.
