Elizabeth Goodspeed is is an independent designer and casual archivist specializing in branding, editorial design, packaging, and art direction.
Elizabeth also publishes an archive focused newsletter called Casual Archivist.
Like this podcast, very causal and all the episodes are an archive. A timestamp of what was said and where our guests on the show were at in that specific time of their lives.
Except don’t go back to episodes and quote them.
Elizabeth’s newsletter drops gems such as vintage magazine covers, produce crate label designs, that pony boy was chef’s kiss.
Causal Archivist was also a class. Teach me your ways.

Natalie Freihon is the founder of Strange Bird Hospitality who brings to life in New York City these great restaurants, Nat’s On Bank, Nat’s on Bleecker, and The Orchard Townhouse.
Surprisedly I’ve eaten at The Orchard Townhouse when I used to work in Chelsea, oh my photo and video days, but definitely stopped by when I’m bopping around to galleries.
Lo and behold I enjoy walking down Chelsea into the West Village, it’s kind of one of my favorite things to do. Get my steps in. But yes I know I tell all my friends I never go above 14th street but this is an exception.
Now I can add a favorite into my Google Maps for Nat’s on Bank which was a great experience having friend, guest, and collaborator Christian Schwartz of Commercial Type to go to lunch with.
Nat’s Mountain House is about to drop and it’s in the Catskills in which we go up every summer. Ever since I discovered glamping I can never go back.

Angel Xu works as a brand marketing consultant for fashion, beauty, lifestyle and hospitality brands.
Angel Xu is the co-founder of Busboy with Rebecca Kligerman as a way to highlight the stories, lessons, and advice from some of the most integral members of this world.
Busboy is a platform dedicated to introducing more eyes and ears to industry professionals who make eating out life’s greatest pleasure. It’s a peek into the lifestyle of the very people we interact with everyday.
I first heard of Busboy when I used to work at the Canal Street Market and Busboy had friend Manny Diamantes of AFRAME and Office Coffee as their first interview.
Bus Boy also featured friends DJ Probablyyourdaddy, Danny Castañeda of Danny’s Nut Butter and Sahra Nguyen of Nguyen Coffee Supply being interviewed for their site.
And I think I have one of those Bus Boy logo stickers around somewhere.
I was a BusBoy. If you worked in the service industry, we’re all BusBoys.

Darby Irrgang is a Cinematographer, Camera Operator and Camera Assistant based in Philadelphia and New York.
I first met Darby on the set of Soul Glo’s music video for ‘Driponomics’ directed by Dan White, Assistant Director by friend and guest of the show Marisa Dabice of Mannequin Pussy and Director of Photography our lovely guest, Darby Irrgang.
We run in similar circles. 1 degree of separation. The music scene in Philly is one of the best music scenes I have ever seen. It is so supportive. Everyone knows everyone. Everyone used to work at the same coffee shop or restaurant and everyone who has a music project makes a music video.
Darby has worked for many of your favorite musicians such as Kurt Vile, Soul Glo, Tigers Jaw, Sadie from Speedy Ortiz
Her film photos are bomb too. Her photos of Rivka from Spirit of the Beehive for Radmad Jewelers are lit.
In the words of Dan White and everyone in the photo and video industry, couldn’t have done it without the best team.
Please welcome Darby Irrgang to Wear Many Hats.

Lee Phillips is poet and a writer.
I first met Lee at the Canal Street Market during the Office Coffee days and enjoyed reading her writing for Office Magazine.
Lee has consulted for many brands such as Youth to the People and Outdoor Voices and has been on teams with titles ranging from editorial intern to Editorial Director and Lead Copy Writer. Across art, culture, beauty and opinion, Lee has written for publications like Document Journal, Byrdie and more.
Even though Lee writes about the mental space which we love, I was impressed by Lee’s poetry.
Lee has written poetry with titles “Nowhere Words” “Ink is an Invasive Species” and “Space We Could Only Cross With A Rocket.”
Lee co-wrote a feature script, and directed two short films, one of which, “Observations of the Amazing World Around Us,” premiered at Nitehawk Cinema as an official NoBudge selection.
Just like this podcast, no budge.

Greg Rivera also known as Greg Mishka is an artist and the Co-Founder and President of Mishka
Greg has comepeted in Secret Walls along with Pow Wow for graffitti.
Remember the mural at Vinnies Pizza?
MISHKA began as a company that made cool t-shirts like their signature eyeball. It has since grown into a lifestyle brand that has created its own culture. MISHKA has crafted a distinct world for itself and its legion of Death Adders and Twerps. Creating many characters in the Mishka Universe and collaborating with so many artists that I love such as Johnny Ryan.
I first remember carrying Mishka in a streetwear store I was the buyer of and was so proud to have them as our first brand. Loved riding around every city in a Mishka tidye tanktop.
I run into Lamour Supreme from time to time and love chatting to Nick Dziewit also known as Sweat Daddy about Mishka history. I love Action Bronson, Danny Brown and The Death Set. That was such a great time.
We’re currently in the Indie Sleeze era, will we be going back to hipster culture.
Keep Watch!

James Williams III is a Virginia bred/Atlanta based interdisciplinary artist.
An insight to Williams journey. He has an expansive background ranging from AutoCAD drafting, Graphic Communications, Activation Design all the way to Mental Health. He has been particularly engaged in his art practice since 2016.
James strives to investigate topics neighboring space, way-finding, emotional health and their relation to identity in order to produce multidimensional works that serve as communal sites of awareness and celebration.
James body of work spans from drawing and painting to sculpture, furniture, and installation.
I have seen James’s work before whether it’s with showcasing the “Open Studio” Furniture Exhibition over at friends and guests of the show Lichen NYC.
“Home Around You” over at IRL Gallery curated by David Eardley
And with speaking in conversation about his work with friends and guests of the show Pink Essay and Matt Pecina.
Since his adaptation of abstraction, Williams’ work has been featured in various publications including Modern Luxury (US), Architectural Digest (US), and POPEYE Magazine (JP).
James says he’s currently coming off of a momentous year for his studio furniture/design practice and revving up for a transformative year within his art practice and in search of opportunities to amplify his voice and journey with platforms that he aligns with.
Never made the basketball team. Welcome home James.
