Hello! So glad you're back with us today here on the show. In James 1:4, it says, But let endurance, steadfastness, and patience, have full play and do a thorough work. So that you may be a people lacking in nothing.

It is hard to look at trials and suffering as opportunities, but they are! They, in fact, can be the BIGGEST ones! If we learn to rewire our brains and hearts to view trials as an opportunity then we become unstoppable. Because with Christ, that is what we are! More than conquers! 

Today on the show, I will help you begin to figure out what you need to change to begin to take the steps necessary to begin that rewiring process.

Happy Monday friends! Alright, alright, maybe that is too full of excitement for a Monday, but I'm sure glad you're here. In this new year, the Weeds Seeds and Beautiful Things Podcast is going to be dropping more great content every week.  Every week, moving forward we will drop a new episode on Mondays, and Fridays! in today's episode, I will be sharing nine points I learned from the Lord, as I was studying my Bible in the book of James. These points are surrounding the importance and purpose that trials and suffering have in the lives of believers. That being said, this year in the podcast, I desire to pull in unbelievers as well as believers who have turned away from their faith. Happy New Year! Welcome to the show, I am so glad you stopped by. Today, we have a special guest, author, and speaker, Heather Creekmore.  Heather writes from her heart about the issue of comparison. I will be discussing with her today about her new book, The burden of better. It was an amazing time of deep conversation and I know you will find it interesting, helpful, and insightful.

Comparison is something that is a universal struggle, it plagues us all from time to time. Whether through the feelings of inadequacy, or insecurity, or jealousy, we have all struggled with comparing ourselves to someone else. 

One thing I loved about my time with Heather was her firmness in the belief, that we can live a life free of comparison. She is a living and breathing testimony of God's healing regarding the plague of comparison. She doesn't pretend that it's easy to do but shares the endless and boundless hope we have in Jesus to overcome.

Hey friends, Merry Christmas!!!

Hey friends! It is almost Thanksgiving. This has been a crazy year, hasn't it??

Are you feeling the weight of the world on your shoulders?
