Today, I want to share some insights with you that I have learned about the benefit of our past experiences (even the terrible ones). I believe our past failures, hurts, successes, tragedies, and joys, are lessons. And, powerful ones at that. 

They hold a wealth of information, wisdom, and insight just waiting for us to access, and apply, to help us further our healing journey. Our past is not simply something we must come to terms with, accept, or leave behind.

Yes, we want to overcome the power of the past over us in our current lives, but there is so much more the past has to offer us! Listen in, and I'll share this truth with you.

Hello friends, welcome back to the show.

 The freedom we have in Christ is so inexhaustible and limitless.

Hi Guys:) 

Welcome back to the show. It has been a crazy week and I'm glad to stop and be here with you. Although I'm not there in the physical, I am in spirit. 

Do you consider your brokenness an asset? Or just an annoying or painful problem? I don't blame you if you chose the second. I know from personal experience, that seeing our trials and weaknesses as a good thing is really hard to do. 

But with God, ALL things can and will work for our good if we are in Christ Jesus and called according to His purposes, as it says in Romans 8:28.

So join me as we look at how our brokenness is an asset in the hands of God.

Hi friends. Today, I want to take a quick detour from our normal episode and share an important truth about God that I was reminded of this week. 

Is there some storm you are facing? 
Do you feel alone and outnumbered?
Are you questioning God about what is going on?
Well, you are NOT alone!

Today, I want to share an unsettling storm I faced this past week, and how God used it to remind me of His power and purpose over the trials we face. 

If you are in a storm right now, you can be assured, you are held there in the midst of whatever you are experiencing. There is no place you will go that is outside of God's sight. You may be in the middle of chaos, but, even there, you can be at peace.

Hi friends! Welcome to the show, I'm so glad you're here.  I hope your week has been wonderful.

Today on the show, I want to talk to you about having big expectations when it comes to God. We often have a small view of God which hinders our belief in what He wants to, and will do in our lives.

When I say to have big expectations of God, I'm not meaning in a self-centered way.  Our God is not a gumball machine God, and He doesn't jump when we say jump.  But, He absolutely does desire to do big and wonderful things in our lives.

The verse in Ephesians 3:20 is so important to help our understanding.

Where it says, Now to Him, by the power that is at work within us, is able to do superabundantly, far over and above all that we ask or think.

This verse is key to us beginning to comprehend the heart and character of God. It's showing us that His desire is to do big things in and through our lives. Knowing God is vital for us to gain an understanding of Him, which we need to grow our faith and expectation.

Feeling isolated can manifest itself in many different ways, such as being lonely, feeling unwanted, or unseen, it's even possible to experience the strongest sense of isolation in a room full of people. But, have you ever associated isolation with hope? Today, I'll help you to see that every thing you face can be used for your good, including feeling isolated. When you are feeling most alone you are positioned for the closest encounter with Jesus. So take heart, press on, and let's get to it!

Hello there:)

In this episode, we're going to talk about what to do when you fall down, mess up, or face discouragement on the pathway to healing. As many of you know, all can be going rather smoothly in your life, and then one day you wake up and it's just hard. This can feel rather confusing when we are doing all the right things. 

Sometimes, on the journey of healing, while we are enjoying new freedoms in Christ from our past hurts and hang-ups, things just get difficult. We can feel out of sorts and be taken by surprise when what was easy yesterday is hard today.

Today, I want to share some of my "fall down" moments with you, and the lessons I am learning as I travel through them. I think it will encourage you and help to bring some perspective to your moments of weakness as we journey together to be stronger in Christ.
