  • Orange juice's low health star rating
    Debate has raged after the Food Regulation Forum gave orange juice a lowly 2.5 star health rating. Citrus Australia has proclaimed that Diet Coke (3.5 stars) would be rated healthier than fresh juice. The Two Murrays spoke to Nathan Hancock, CEO of Citrus Australia, who said "despite evidence that fresh juice contains nutrients vital to physical and mental well-being, these governments have deferred to the anti-sugar lobby, which has had fresh juice in its sights since the Health Star rating system was formed."
    Federal agriculture minister, David Littleproud, who proposed the review of fresh juice's rating to four stars, said it was "madness".

  • Asteroid space capsule lands in Australia
    A capsule containing the first sub-surface samples from an asteroid, has been recovered by scientists in Woomera, South Australia. It ends a six-year journey of more than 5 billion kilometres.  
    The Hayabusa2 spacecraft released the small capsule on Saturday and sent it to Earth to deliver samples from a distant asteroid that could give clues to the origin of the solar system and life on our planet, according to the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). 
    Glen Nagle from the Canberra Deep Space Communication Complex spoke to the Two Murrays about this groundbreaking mission.

    Regional airline Rex will enter the domestic capital cities market next year, rivalling carriers Qantas and Virgin in one of the biggest shake-ups in Australian aviation history.The airline will commence flights between Sydney and Melbourne on March 1, with fares starting from $79.
