Leo season starts this week, which means we're entering that time of year where we're supposed to figure out who we are, except this time Mercury's already retrograde in Leo so we're doing it with half our brain offline. It's like trying to have a personality crisis while your mental browser has 47 tabs open and they're all frozen.
After spending the last nine months getting our asses handed to us by various planetary configurations that made us look at all our defensive patterns and power struggles, we're finally at the part where we actually have to integrate all those lessons. The universe is basically like, remember all that shadow work you did? Time to actually change now. And we're like, cool cool cool, except everyone in our life is used to the old version of us and now we have to have awkward conversations about how we're different now.
The week opens with Mars sitting on the South Node while Venus squares the whole situation, which is astronomical speak for "your growth is about to make your relationships weird." Because here's what happens when you change: everyone has opinions about it. Some people are going to be genuinely supportive and update their mental files about who you are. Others are going to act like you personally betrayed them by evolving. It's going to be a whole thing.
Key moments of the week:
