This is roooooouuuuugh rough rough, but for a great reason - it's my first piece on Digitakt II, and in fact my first piece on hardware at all! The bass drum design is shameful, the transitions are haphazard, and mix is very mushed and mono (I may have recorded it incorrectly, with only the left channel), but make no mistake - it is in fact a piece, made without the use of a laptop (well, okay, sample-crafting aside), and I can only improve from here! Had a lot of fun, and am very very excited to keep at it.
Title is a reflection of the magic of this machine to me, that there's so much that can be done and so much complexity to be achieved through this box that I can only interact with through little knobs and buttons next to a tiny tiny screen. Feels like I'm communing with ghosts, or at a control panel commanding an army of tiny signal gnomes. Such powerful sound from such a tiny box!
That being said, the '3' key is bad so we're already exchanging it lol. But I'm sure that new Digitakt II and I are gunna be best friends :)
