A bit of a speedtrash, as I'm going for conference tomorrow and won't have access to instruments. Given that I continue last week's "only live instruments" that means that today is the last day to do anything.

Week 26/Song 10

This week I didn't have much time but didn't want to pass on going another week without creating something. I was grateful for the tune that popped in my head at a time I could capture it and for finding a premade loop that seemed to match well. I spent time playing with vocal sound to get a more vintage feel and rerecording to rework lyrics as I went while spending far too long on fade and automation tutorials that didn't seem to get the right effect at the end. For me, I'm happy to have completed lyrics in one sitting and not abandoning this project.

i put for a recording session new strings on my acoustic guitar and so i had to use it.

at first i wanted to write a proper song and put up mics and everything and then nothing came to me. later after i gave that up i just noodled around an idea came. so i just recorded it with my laptop mic and the window open because right now germany has quite the heatwave. it gave the whole recording a beautiful lofi vibe and an airyness that is usually really really hard for me.
