Spent some time this week going through some old songs. Always an interesting experience. Was picking out songs I may want to revisit. Found some that had potential but needed a lot of love. This one has a lot of percussion I played live, tongue drum, talking drum, djembe, shekere. Then various other tracks from the original and new ones I added this week. All that is a challenge to mix. The original needed work. I think I've gotten a little better since 2018, and I'm happier with this new arrangement and mix. Have some more ideas, maybe in another few years :)

For those of you in the US who get a Labor Day holiday and day off of work tomorrow, enjoy.

Awesome collaboration with Endojo and JWH this week, I did dig out a jam with Niko then asked in the discord channel if anybody would like to throw some vocal lines on it and damn Endojo didn't dissapoint!!!

Then I added some synth bass, it was cool but did feel that it deserved some "real live performance" so I did reach out to Josh (JWH) for a bass line and he did send me a very cool track.

I did go see good friends yesterday, and one of my friend did get stuck... Fun times.

Fitness journey, not great, maybe 4hrs of general exercices.

This one started with me showing the m8 to a friend on discord and creating what he called a "Hotline Miam-ish" sequence. I built a somewhat coherent track but I feel there are lots of things to fix everywhere. Still, I placed little nuggets of fun and I liked both the process and the result, especially since it's out of my usual style.

Jammed out this one quickly.... just working on moving and unpacking this weekend finally! Had some other ideas but threw most of it away and just started with that little string loop in the middle, then fleshed it out from there. Still don't have my studio monitors or anything else set up yet, so just a quick one with Bitwig and soft synths.
