For this one, I've tried out using one of the ethical AI services, voice-swap.ai

All the artists involved get paid for the training data they feed into the model

You can take a vocal and turn it into a someone else's voice, so I thought I'd find a few different Splice samples from different singers and join them together. I think it works okay, some of lyrics and not 100% clear, but it's all good for a practise track like this.

Its not really done but its done enuf. Im not serving ground beef or pork so you should be ok. At least no worms or listeria or campylobacteriosis or salmonella, trichinoisis, hemorrhagic colitis (that sounds exciting and messy!), yersiniosis (mysiniosis, theirsiniosis...), shigellosis, brucellosis, bovine tuberculosis (!) clostridium perfringens (I cant stop), staphylococcal food poisoning, toxoplasmosis(I think my cat wants to give me that. But he loves me. Just like god), hepatitus!!!, novovirus gastroenteritis and so many more to choose from.

But, you wont get them here. Probably not even an ear worm.

Welp, missed last week entirely due to moving and subsequent technical difficulties.  Still rebuilding the new studio space. It sucks that I won't be doing the full 52 weeks, but I've come to terms with it.  The biggest thing is getting back in the saddle. 

I've got a rack with a direct injection box, and I'm trying out the recording process with that.  Got a drum set arriving today as well.  Hopefully, all of this will result in some new explorations in songwriting. Hoping I can get fuller sounding arrangements with some more instrumentation. Also, hoping to lure in guest musicians too!

This is some chip tune exploring my new studio set up a bit. I think this is kind of end credits Game Boy music.

This is SYmphonic DEath Metal, the title sounds cooler than it is clever.

Asked a friend of ours, XubTheMad, for a genre to do this week, and this is what he gave us. Not wanting to destroy my voice (or do actual grunting, we can do that, just don't really want to), the vocals are instead performed by Delay Lama's successor, Krazy Sandi Delay Lama put through a distortion filter. A lot of things are put through distortion filters, really.

The feedback I got from him is that it's an interesting take, but it's missing the arpeggiating guitar, which is fair, didn't really have the time to put those in, but otherwise it's been accepted as good enough

hey all! Been a heck of a week! Getting some of my frustration and grief out into this one, but since its so hard to be emotional with my voice, we're just pouring it into the instruments. I got a pharmacy call at the just right time and it ruined the second verse, but then I put it up to the microphone and it fit in a really freakin cool way! I kept it. HEB god tier
