  • Week 16 - spOOked - bent plastic
Fun Jam that I did I think that the starter Parts a little too loud and a little harsh but I think they're kind of cool and the tones I got out of them overall it is a fun little number

  • Week 16 - dr0ptpacket - BTS - The Blank VHS Tape (Rewound Remix)
(almost) zero time this week... I wasted the small time I had trying (and failing) to find a specific instrument/sample and ran across this ambient gemstone from BTS. I threw it into audacity and messed with it slightly (or heavily?).  It's sharealike, so maybe someone will remix it/use it creatively in an actual song.
    Original track by BTS here.
Update: I'm officially tapping out for a while. God-willing I will have more time to devout to WB soon! :)

  • Week 16 - s.d.s. - Week 16 v8
I have no idea what this is, where it came from or why I couldn’t stop tweaking it. It’s very uncharacteristic for me and I’m not going to dignify it with a name.

  • Week 16 - Xavier - Pick Up the Phone
I am starting to produce songs for artists, before I was just working on games and films, but really love doing this too. Wrote this as a homage to early 2000s RnB like Pharrell and Timbaland. I was born in 2000 so that music alongside a ton of others was part of my childhood. Let me know what you all think and what did you listen to growing up?

  • Week 16 - Tomavatars - Holy Keys
    Heeeeey!!!!
I will release my M4L module this week finally.
It was holidays with the kids, not much time to work on anything.
But I managed to improve a lot the cpu of the unit and squash some bugs so it was this time really pleasant to work with it.
This track was a bit inspired by my memory of my first Daft Punk records. I mean, I started with some simple synths modulated by my module, and then found that it would be fun to play with the master knob of this module to make some slow risers.
I find this track pretty fun but I have a headache so I can't really know now if it's really good.
    Have a good week!

  • Week 16 - Kooda - Dunno
Very rushed, made in 2 hours. Unrelated artwork (also rushed, it’s just something I painted this week) ^^'

  • Week 16 - ModuLoBro - Take a Breath
Just a lil sump'n soothing to maybe turn the crazy down for a little while.
A lot's been posted on the Interwebs about the Deluge's synth engines not sounding that great. I've also struggled with voice-stealing during past projects. So this week I began digging into both issues. I made a synth sound that I like quite a bit (the big pad, first thing you hear) and learned whatever I could find about conserving voices/CPU/etc. on the Deluge.
I... also started a few big music projects with summer deadlines. There's part of me that thinks, yeah, I need to back-burner WeeBeats while I get through these other deadlines. There's another part that thinks WeeBeats might actually energize me and give me a nice break in the evenings by letting me work on something that's not for a client. So who knows how that'll shake out, but I'm rooting for the latter possibility.
    hugs to all.
