So, over the last few years, I've gradually built a small collection of riffs quite similar to each other based around the E minor pentatonic/blues scale, and because they're pretty basic, they became a bit of a 'go-to' whenever I picked up a guitar to try out or testing a pedal or whatever.

This track is an amalgamation of some of those riffs, built into a song... of sorts... risks were taken and sacrifices were made, but I guess it somewhat works in the end...?

Although I identify as non-binary and in no way fit stereotypical masculine vibes, I seem to unintentionally gravitate towards writing rather masc riffs, as this piece demonstrates... *shrug*

Also, feel free to mention if any of these riffs are ripping something off, because I wouldn't be surprised.

Another week of automatic writing because I cant focus on being intentional

Spent about 20 minutes writing some highly dissonant patterns intentionally clashing against one another being without a specific key. 10 minutes sequencing them into a pattern. another 15 minutes adjusting volumes, fx chains and making sure it wasnt peaking. Total work time about 45 minutes

Yet another Sunday without any ideas. Like past two months, I popped Kawai K4 on and scrolled through countless presets. IB-1 ArtOfNoise.syx sounded awesome to begin with - and yeah, it certlainly sounds like Art Of Noise. Some seven hours later I was "ready".

The only thing I was opting was to sound similary cohesive like in past few weeks. To build something ambient-esque electronica, like Virgo, The Primitive Painter and Alter Ego to name a few - but also sound like my own.

It's looking like I really could make an ep or even an album with this kind of stuff. I think I'll make it happen with my latest moniker Sangen Sees.

Hey everyone! :)

I’m still amazed at how some people crank out a track so fast. A pro once told me he can finish one in two hours (without mixing or mastering) like… how??

I’ve spent around 30 hours on this week’s track and I can still hear room for improvement everywhere. How do you guys do it? Do you stick to the same templates, presets, samples, or what?

Anyway, here’s my entry for the week. Hope you enjoy it a bit!

First of all big shoutout to Huabun: https://weeklybeats.com/huabun for playing the rhodes ish solo which i intended to be like a few bars at most but now its pretty much the whole song so yay, less work for me!

Besides that this one serves as background music for some youtube videos im working on right now which is the reason for its laid back sound signature and easygoing groove and easy to follow loops.

For some reason it was super hard making it sound "low fidelity" because im so used to mixing to "ideal targets".
