This is the first music I have ever made. It seems good to me but I would gladly accept feedback. I forgot to work on it for most of the week, and I couldn't think of a title, so I just named it "Very Uncreative Title". =D

I may rename it something else later. (Update, I named it "Threads" which was just the first word that came up on a random word generator)

Fun fact about this also: The ghost-sounding sound at the end part, which is the last sound that plays, is actually the battery low sound effect on my best friend's laptop!

Got a nice 4 chord sequence with some bubbly 303. Felt really good about it, but then can't quite make arrangement that doesn't feel repetitive around it. Ran out of time to polish the mix. It's rough.

I wish chord progression wasn't such a big struggle for me. Just throwing things until something sticks :/

Anyway big thanks to trash80 for sharing the bundles of his tracks. Cranking up the ott right from the start and using ERR is what the lesson is :)

All created on the OP-1 Field on a recent trip to Melbourne.  I only got back tonight in time to master and upload the track!

Most of the track is created from a recording I took using the inbuilt mic on the OP-1 Field of the noise of the city late at night from balcony of the high-rise apartment I was staying in.  Only the organ type sound isn't.

The entire track was mixed direct from the OP-1 Field to a stereo file for mastering.  Such a great travelling instrument!

I recently played a show with an excellent band called "Forty Nights at Sea". They had an amazing sense of drama and intensity to them. They inspired this weeks contribution. You should check them out. They haven't played together for years so it was a real treat to see them.

This was done on a new pc so I had limited tools (haven't installed everything yet). It uses Addictive Drums 2 and Arturia's augmented series plugs + ableton effects.
