Listen to me troubleshoot my performance kit in situ while trying to record this week's track. :) Slower breaks this week (I tend to vacillate between techno and slower breaks type stuff). Starting to incorporate the S-4 and digging it quite a bit, although still not really leveraging the power here. The synth riff is Atlantix/Sealegs, which are the modules I've been focusing on in the last few weeks.

2nd quarter of the year has arrived, congrats everyone who stuck around this far and welcome to those who decided to join now.

I thought I would try to switch from vibraphone to an epiano-wurlitzer-rhodes style sound. I have a lot more ideas on this one but not enough time to make them a reality, so hitting upload now while I am ahead.

When the nights almost ended and that empty feeling starts to take over, all you can do is cry on that dance floor. Made in FL studio mobile while travelling.

I had a lot of fun making this song. A couple of weeks back the Kids and Families Pastor at my church asked me to write a theme song for our kids ministry. He gave me five words that they talk about every week to set the culture of their learning time. I tried to make it a song at the time, but it didn't work, and I ended up writing a song about the resurrection of Jesus. Maybe it's ironic that this week, the week of Easter Sunday, I managed to write the kids song!

In this demo I tried to capture the energy I could hear in my head. But it's got a long way to go. I'm hoping to enlist a friend's help to make it way cooler than this.

We love, ‘cause the Father loves

We tell what he’s done for us

We live for the glory of his name

We ask, that is how we learn

We learn, from the word of God

We live in the world that Jesus made

And when we‘re together

Jesus is here

We love, we tell

We ask, we learn

We’re living for Jesus

We’re living for Jesus

We love because of Jesus

We tell them about Jesus

We ask so we can learn about Jesus

We’re living for Jesus

This track was made from a tutorial about creating cinematic sounding intro sequences

I'm aiming to have a more roller type of structure, and the bass sound design is done in Rift by Minimal Audio

the track i was working on needed some more time to cook so here's a cheeky little thing with reese bass, a classic break and some splice vocals i thought were cool (and idk other stuff)

then i got sucked into playing around with tixl so i rendered a vid too (nothing else happens in it)
