Diets tell you HOW to lose weight (eat this many calories, or this many WW points, cut out the things you love, follow this meal plan exactly, etc. etc. etc.) But if that's all it took to lose weight, none of us would still be out here struggling.
The truth is, there's SO much more to weight loss than any cookie-cutter plan can give you. Diets don't work, because they don't address the REAL reasons weight loss feels hard.
What about when you have a terrible day and you just want some relief (aka ice cream)?
What about when your cravings are so loud you can't stand them for one more second?
What about when you're SO exhausted and overwhelmed, and food feels like the only bright spot in your day?
No restrictive diet has ever given you solutions for these problems, but these are the REAL issues in the way of your weight loss.

In this episode, we’re continuing the series that will help you tackle all the issues in the way of your weight loss.
Today we're talking about your feelings. SO many of us overeat to escape our feelings. We don’t want to feel anxious, or lonely, or bored, or unhappy with our lives…so we eat for comfort, for distraction, or to soothe ourselves.
The problem is…the food isn’t actually solving our problems. In fact, it’s creating ADDITIONAL problems because now our clothes don’t fit, and we hate the way we look and feel.
But managing your feelings doesn’t have to be so hard. In this episode, I’ll show you:
- What’s actually happening in your body when you’re experiencing feelings
- How to experience uncomfortable emotions like stress, anxiety, sadness, etc. without needing to turn to food, wine, or scrolling on your phone for relief
- How to show up for yourself with curiosity and compassion, rather than ignoring or denying your emotions
