On September 19, 1961, Barney and Betty Hill were driving back to Portsmouth from a Vacation in the Niagara Falls area. Around 10:30 pm they saw something unexplainable in the sky. Several hours later they would regain consciousness further down the road with no recollection of what occurred. This event would come to be known as the first reported case of alien abduction. In late January 1959, nine hikers led by Igor Dyatlov set out on a trek into the Ural Mountains of Siberia. In spite of the fact that they were all very skilled hikers they would never return from the mountains. After setting up camp on the slopes of Kholat Syakhi tragedy would befall the group. When the group failed to return a search and rescue team would be formed. What the team discovered on the side of the mountain would lead to more questions than answers.
