A skeptic named Vince installs home surveillance cameras and immediately catches terrifying oddities around his wife Deanna: something yanking her leg in bed, doors moving, sheets whipping, and shadows crossing doorways. As Deanna grows fearful—and strangely religious after finding a puzzle box with a tilted “portait” cross—Vince keeps trying to rationalize it (and prank it), while a socially awkward fan, Christina, starts hovering around their house with a Bible that conveniently bookmarks the Book of Joshua. The phenomena escalate: a ceiling fan crashes, Deanna sleepwalks, opens secured doors, digs holes in the yard at night, and eventually collapses after a guttural outburst; she’s hospitalized and unresponsive. A medium, Heather, declares the house isn’t haunted—the wife is—and hints, “you just have to dig.” Vince and a friend dig where the gardener recently fell and unearth an urn with ash and bone; moments later, the hospital calls: Deanna wakes up. Research plus a catering business card suggests a grim backstory: a prior tenant family—Joshua Juarez—a murder-suicide, and a possibly murdered daughter buried on the property. The cross is sealed away, the urn goes to police, and Deanna recovers. Vince compiles the footage into a documentary, leaving the central question deliciously unsettled: malevolent spirit, human horror, or both?

One thing that has not been a constant is how society judges those involved in the infidelity. In 1885, there were different opinions about both adulterers as well as the one who murders a homewrecker. Its force is above all force, for it vanquishes every subtle thing and penetrates every solid thing.” Cryptic yes, but it appears to indicate immense power for the one who understands and wields it. It comes from the Emerald Tablet – and it’s no surprise there are many now who want to know where it is. The Axis powers of World War II tried to kill the Loch Ness Monster. (The Assassination of the Loch Ness Monster) *** As far back as time is recorded, mankind has had a fascination with Sirius, the Dogstar. But what is so special about it aside from the fact that it’s one of the brightest stars in our sky? Might there be an extraterrestrial connection as well? (Why So Serious About Sirius?) *** UFO reports come in constantly to police stations and online sites dedicated to the subject of Ufology – practically on a daily basis. And many sightings are by people you would consider above reproach such as law enforcement, scientists, military, numerous sightings by pilots… but when you head out into space and see a UFO, as is what happens with astronauts’ reports, that’s something you take a much closer look at. (Code Word: Santa Claus) *** Jimmy Logue left his wife after only two years of marriage. Without first getting divorced, he married another woman – whom he badly mistreated, so she left him. But he had already started an affair with her sister, so he married her next – now on his third wife. He abused her as well. He was also a career criminal – spending half his life living off the spoils of his thievery, the other half behind bars when caught.
