You've seen Soulsby playing the main sets at festivals such as Wine Machine, Origin Fields & Pineapple Club.  In this interview we discuss why he started deejaying & how he got the opportunity to play those main sets that every DJ in Perth wants. Kyle is also barber by trade & we talk through his journey from begging to do after school clean up shifts at a barber shop in his local neighbourhood. To working at Westons & building his own clientele to opening up his own shop in North Perth.

Originally a head chef, Clint's ethos is all about the customer & their experience. We talk through his hospitality story & touch on the difficulties he's faced this year with Covid19 temporarily closing his venues. He also lets us in on a little secret about his next venue that's opening shortly!

Celebrating La Cholita's 10th birthday, it's an impressive achievement that this Mexican inspired restaurant  is still as busy as ever serving up those delicious taco's & margarita's.

Ben thought he had his partying & lifestyle all under control but a few major life events sent Ben down a dark rabbit hole which made him wonder at his darkest moments if he'd ever get out. 

Ben chats with us openly about his mental health challenges he faced as a mid 20s guy trying to work out his identity & his purpose during a crossroads period in his life.

Young guys living the dream until a mixture of rainy summer festival days & spending today's tax money on tomorrow's event.

Fraser & his business partners dissolved Metric Events after some hard life lessons to focus on digital marketing where his real niche was found. Fast forward a few years & "Made in the Pile" is one of the biggest marketing agencies in Perth with a diversified client base. Fraser talks candidly about his failures, successes & the ride along the way. Only in his early 30's still, this episode is a fascinating listen.

After missing out on the ultimate success that she so wanted as a leader in the Hockeyroos squad in the Olympics. Her body was no longer cut out to play at the highest level after world cups & the commonwealth games. 

Jayde retired in Amsterdam & eventually made her way back to Perth for the next phase of her life. No longer having a purpose & drive to get out of bed early for training she went through some dark days like many athletes do post their professional careers.

Zack talks about his time at the Western Force & the Brumbies, before making the huge decision to move his life over to France. He had to learn how to train, play & live the way the French do. One thing you always do as a French rugby player is never lose at home... first game he played & his team got belted at home! However as his whole life story goes, his perseverance & belief in his ability gets him through... even when his coaches didn't. Mitch was mucking around playing flag football with mates in Perth after giving up on Aussie rules due to dodgy shoulders. He got a call after a Bali trip telling him to stop partying & fly over to Melbourne to have a crack at punting seriously at an academy called Pro Kick Australia. He quit his job as a glazier & slept on a mates couch the first night over there. His second night he was about to sleep in a 24 hour gym's toilet as he had no where else to go.... fast forward & Mitch is about to jump on the field for his first kick in the NFL Superbowl to a packed Miami stadium & 100 million people watching live! An unbelievable story of will power, hard work & determination.
