David and Michaela are so dang close! That's right, it's "End of Days", the penultimate episode of Buffy. We're excited, you're excited, we might even be ex-scythe-ted as the showdown of the First Evil vs the Best Slayer(s) commences. Also, the writers have decided that this episode is a great time to: introduce a new faction into the Buffyverse; kill off a big bad that was only introduced in the past couple episodes; bring Angel back; and attempt to manufacture some Spike drama.

No matter what your feelings are though, it's still an interesting choice to make your main character less and less likeable throughout a season.
