Michaela and David get together in-person to talk about the worst-rated episode from season 7, "First Date". Turns out, not that bad. Not a stellar episode, and definitely part of the mid-season slump, but all is not terrible here. Xander continues to attract demons far above him in terms of hotness, Buffy continues to win various awards for best sister/friend, and Kennedy continues to be our least favourite potential.

Michaela and David have a rough time with "Potential". The awkward middle-child in televisual format, this is an episode that cannot be renowned as one of the worst, but falls far from being one of the best. Instead we are left with forgettable action, uninspiring plot threads, and a healthy dose of awful fashion courtesy of the titular young ladies.

David and Michaela would not be able to remember "Showtime" were it not for this episode containing literally the worst plan we have ever seen in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Questions about Giles go un-answered and the spirit of departed Forrest is remembered while the costume department does awful things to poor little Felicia Day, and Buffy starts (continues?) her grand tradition of making "inspirational" speeches.

Michaela and David welcome the darkness in with "Bring on the Night". Yessir, we're crashing straight into the traditional mid-season slump with this one folks. But all is not lost, as we see (yet again) the velour tracksuit of sadness, Joyce once again graces us with her presence and our hosts are introduced to the concept of zipper-sleeved blazers, which were once thought to only be the rantings and ravings of madmen.
