Welcome To The Hellmouth

Michaela and David clear up some misunderstandings about "Beneath You". For instance, Dave seems to think that the things shown in this episode will have any sort of bearing on the rest of the season. That turns out to be untrue. But hey, at least we get to see that total smokeshow Nancy and have mild amounts of fun with Anya!

David and Michaela start the final season of Buffy with "Lessons". There's fresh new fashion, a sick new look for Giles and Xander's employment status is moving up up up! Is the new principal of Sunnydale High evil? How crazy is Spike? Has Buffy actually (finally) learned to respect her sister? Will we ever learn the names of Dawn's new friends? All these questions and more!

Michaela and David wrap up the sixth season of Buffy with "Grave". It's an all-out apocalypse and Willow's to blame. Will Giles clean his final glasses? Will Willow go fully down a dark path? Will Buffy finally figure out a lesson about how her sister is a real person? Find out the answer to these questions and more!

David and Michaela enjoy the penultimate episode of Buffy's sixth season, "Two to Go". It's a Dark Willow-fueled romp through all sorts of wackiness, and though it may not justify the excessive magic-as-drugs metaphor hit home so many times this season it at least repairs some of the damage. And there's a very exciting surprise appearance later in the episode!

Michaela and David are psyched for the first appearance of Dark Willow in "Villains". Willow's mad, Tara's dead, Buffy's mildly shot and it's all excitement from here on out. Oh, Spike is also in Darkest Africa because this show needed that.

David and Michaela have an uncomfortable time with "Seeing Red" from Buffy's sixth season. Yup, a lot of weird stuff is going on here, somehow revolving around a central testicular metaphor. Amazingly we're not even making that up. Whatever, the clothes are crazy and something important happens at the end of this otherwise useless episode, so there you go.

Michaela and David dive into "Entropy" from Buffy's sixth season. The nerds are up to their usual shenanigans doing some sort of plan that involves both science and computers (frustratingly) while Anya deals with Xander leaving her at the altar. Red alerts are the order of the day in this tale of a scorned woman out for vengeance.

David and Michaela are caught in the waking dream that is "Normal Again". In this TNG-episode-turned-Buffy-episode, is Buffy a Slayer dreaming of being in a mental hospital, or a butterfly dreaming of being a man? In either case she's wearing the wrong clothes. But hey, Joyce is back!
