This week's episode is with the lovely Dr. Lisa Gunderson. Dr. Lisa began One Love Consulting in Victoria, B.C., at the end of 2012. One Love specializes in providing organizations anti-racism and equity workshops/training, consultation. Dr. Gunderson specializes in racism against persons of African ancestry (anti-black racism both in the United States and Canada). Her motivational speaking centers around the mental wellness in being unapologetically black while engaging in discussions around white fragility, power, privilege, microaggressions, bias, white supremacy, and systemic discrimination.

In this episode, we chat about her journey becoming a clinical psychologist, how she started one love consulting and how she specializes in providing organizations anti-racism and equity workshops, and we also discuss the George Floyd movement as well as the increase of her services during this difficult time. This week's guest is Ania B. You might have seen her beautifully created Instagram photos, where she showcases beauty, travel, and lifestyle content. What you most likely didn’t know is that Ania was an accountant for 6 years. Growing up with a family experienced in the field, accounting seemed like the obvious career path for Polish-born Ania. However, with years of modeling experience under her belt, she decided to quit number crunching and focus full-time on her fashion and lifestyle blog. The blog may have started out as a solo project with the main purpose to document daily inspiration but it has evolved into being a creative platform for both Ania Boniecka and her husband, Tyler Stalman to showcase their work, travel, and sartorial endeavors through the medium of photography and video. In this episode, we talk about how she dealt with finding a job during the 2008 crash and what advice she has for those out there still looking for jobs during this pandemic. We also chat about why she decided to pivot careers, how her accounting background still serves her today, how she makes money & her experience body dysmorphia in the modeling industry.

Today's guest is Samatha Feher.  At Cosmopolitan, she serves as the Editorial Assistant and Assistant to the Editor-in-Chief (Jessica Pels). Her responsibilities include writing for the magazine, supervising the internship program, managing day-to-day workflow, and helping the team produce content for the largest young women’s media brand in the world.  Most recently, she has been operating Cosmopolitan’s Instagram LIVE—booking talent, scheduling content, and developing programming for over 3.2 million followers.

To top that all off, she is also an online content creator (With over 50,000 followers), freelance consultant, and owner of an online clothing store. In this episode, we talk about how she developed a strong brand to land her dream job, what it’s really like to work for one of the largest media/magazine company's in the world. and how she balances working full time with her own online clothing company.
