This week, Christina Ray Stanton, survivor of the two most shattering events to hit our country in the past century. 9/11 and a near-fatal battle with Covid, opens up about about how she used her trauma to guide her towards a life filled with love, success, laughter and giving. She tells about how even though you have the power to create the life you want, it is only to a certain extent thanks to the curveball life inevitably throws at you. With the right skills though, you can utilize the curveballs to your advantage to reach your desired destination. Christina has used these experiences to help educate others and promote transformational growth in their own lives.

For this weeks solo episode I wanted to break down a powerful mindset shift that has changed the way I operate. It has allowed me to no longer feel the need to chase the higher version of myself, but accept that I am her right now even though I am not 100% healed, healthy, and well. I can still work towards becoming better without feeling like there is something wrong with present me. I walk you guys through how to make the decision to control your emotions compared to allowing them to control you using realistic examples that will trigger your own breakthrough of making the decision to not feel badly anymore. I then explain how to live a kinda well kinda toxic lifestyle and teach you the skills that will transform the way you perceive your healing journey and your day to day experience. If you feel yourself working hard to self improve and feeling like you just can't reach the finish line, this is for you.
This week I sat down with I.C.F. certified life coach Michael Kohan to discuss how he helps others discover their powerful inner strengths and give clients and students the tools they need to make more meaningful decisions to Aim Higher and Elevate Their Life. We discuss how being intentional even in the smallest of ways can shift the trajectory of your life so you can look back from the rocking chair and feel proud of your accomplishments rather than wondering if you could have done more. Michael discusses this in a realistic way that involves accepting your life as it is and focusing on personal growth where it's necessary without chasing a destination or material gain, or without having to take major uncomfortable changes like quitting your job because it's not your passion or developing a monk like mentality. We discuss topics like intentional laziness, toxic self help, and specific steps you can take right now to elevate your life.Connect with Michael: https://elevatelifeproject.com/

This week I sat down with influencer, reality show "Playground" season 2 cast member, and most importantly ;) Wellish listener, Rain Clements to talk about her experience growing her online presence. We discuss how amassing such a large following has impacted her perception of herself and what she does to cope with the emotions and expectations that come with it. She opens up about her struggle with other people's opinions, but how she works hard to challenge herself in her pursuit to overcome the fear completely. We also get into her journey shifting from living life with a negative mindset to one that only sees the positive in situations, how she wants to bring that positivity into other people's lives, and spreading the message that negative situations will always get better. Rain is adamant you will never be stuck in the same situation forever, we just have to let fate take its course and be intentional to create the life we want.
