  • Forest Bathing, The Healing Energy of Trees
Have you ever noticed how great you feel when you are outside hiking or experiencing the beauty of nature? Did you know trees are vital to sustaining life? Trees have a personality and energy all their own? Do you remember being a child climbing trees or sitting in the arm of a tree in your backyard or neighborhood? Trees have a high vibrational energy and can provide healing to your mind and body.
In this episode James Batton, Arborist and “Forest Bather” shares how he began his love affair with trees. Tune in to learn about the health benefits of time in the forest. Trees each have their wisdom to share and a history that we can learn from. Spending time in forested areas has been shown to improve health. It can improve your immune system, lower blood pressure, increase energy, reduce stress hormones, and improve mood.
Forest Bathing is the experience of taking in trees through all our senses. It is different from hiking or exercising outside. It is an actual ionic exchange of your energy and the energy of the earth and trees. Go out into the woods today, hug a tree, and heal your body and mind!

  • Lighten Your Soul, the Positive Energy of Forgiveness
Have you ever walked into a room and known there was a conflict going on? Or have you noticed the way you feel when you hold a newborn baby? You can just feel and sense the positive or negative energy.
In this episode of Wellness Wisdom, Bill Barney, an Intuitive Practitioner of Energy Medicine with "All Things Possible", explains how we are vibrational energy. The higher the vibration, the more light we experience, the lower the vibration the more darkness we experience.
When our body holds onto negative emotions and unforgiveness, it may block the flow of energy. The energy block may appear as PTSD, anxiety, anger, pain, and other physical or mental problems. When negative energy "lands in our body" it impacts our bodies performance and can cause dis-ease. Bill shares part of his 5-step process for releasing hard feelings and experiencing the light of forgiveness. You can read more about this in his recently released book "Shine the Light Within; 5 Steps to Lighten your Soul through Forgiveness."

  • Embrace Change, Learn to Dance with Life
The very thought of “change” can bring discomfort, anxiety, and distress. Change is inevitable, and we will all go through life transitions, changes in careers, and family changes.

According to Pamela Thompson, when experiencing change "we feel constantly under stress as our bodies stay in flight, flight or freeze mode trying to keep us safe. We may feel afraid, angry, confused and uncertain in life and at work. Professionally this may look like the inability to focus, make decisions and result in reduced productivity and lack of fulfillment in work and life. Over time this constant stress often negatively impacts our health. The bottom line is if we don’t learn how to embrace change, over time it negatively impacts both our personal and professional lives."

Pamela Thompson is a life and business coach who understands the impact of change on health and well-being. In this episode, Pam teaches us  how to learn the dance steps of change. How to make change more fluid and take care of ourselves as we embrace our passions.  Pam shares her brilliant process navigating us through change by choosing a dance, feeling the rhythm, celebrate lessons learned, and sharing your dance with the world!

You can joyfully embrace change as you overcome limiting beliefs, practice mindfulness, grounding, and open yourself up to the creative process we call change. See how embracing change can help you thrive in business and life!
