The Wests Tigers are back in action again this weekend in Tamworth with a clash against the Sharks.

On this edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast, Eddie Otto, Garry Watson, and Declan McCutcheon preview the match against the high-flying Sharks.

There's also plenty of Wests Tigers signing news to discuss, including the re-signing of Brent Naden and Asu Kepaoa in recent days.

Are we feeling a bit more confident that Isaiah Papali'i is heading to Tiger Town? There's plenty to discuss in regards to the current Eels backrower.

Further to that, the boys take James Tamou to task over his comments regarding Papali'i and his future.

Luke Brooks to the Knights? There looks to be some truth to reports that a trade to the Knights is being discussed, who do you want in return? Tyson Frizell or David Klemmer, we give our opinions on those options.

And Eddie's quiz returns, this time with the addition of a listener question that might just leave everyone stumped!

It's another big edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast, don't miss it!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

After a couple of strong performances, the Wests Tigers reverted back to old ways yesterday at Campbelltown.

Playing a team that had a difficult week, and is out of form, the Knights showed up in our backyard seemingly hungrier and better prepared.

Once again, Wests Tigers save one of their performances for a Campbelltown Stadium match.

On this edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast, we take a look at where things went wrong.

Why did we once again put in a lackluster showing? Just how much did we miss Jackson Hastings? And has the performances of Jock Madden and Adam Doueihi changed our minds over the halves conundrum?

We also take a look at the player and team stats and ask why Austin Dias didn't even get a run, despite the fact the Tigers seemed out on their feet at different stages of the game.

There's also a discussion around the worrying scenes at Leichhardt Oval on Saturday when a number of people were injured when a railing collapsed at a rugby game.

What implications could this have for Leichhardt and the Wests Tigers moving forward?

We finish up with a wrap-up of a very successful Ambush event held just before yesterday afternoon's game in Leumeah.

And, apologies for the technical issues that have kept Wests Tigers Radio off the air, we are working with the streaming service to get that sorted ASAP.

Unfortunately, it isn't a post-victory edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast, but we still hope you enjoy it.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The Wests Tigers are primed to go into battle with a club we've been having a bit of trouble with in recent times - the Newcastle Knights.

On this edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast, hosted by Garry Watson and Steve Stretton, the boys preview tomorrow afternoon's clash with the Knights at Campbelltown.

They also delve into the latest Wests Tigers news, including:

    • The finalisation of the Top 30 squad for season 2023
    • Would David Klemmer be a positive addition to the Wests Tigers playing group?
    • The State Government back-flip on funding for Leichhardt Oval
And there's a debate over the merits of Jock Madden and Luke Brooks.

Don't forget too that you are invited to come along to the pregame Ambush event at the Beer Shed in Leumeah tomorrow afternoon.

And we'll be broadcasting live tomorrow night at 8:30, win, lose or draw on Wests Tigers Radio.

The Wests Tigers have had another year in the headlines with some pretty big changes coming through the club.

Through the challenging times, and the odd glimmer of hope, Wests Tigers fans and members do stick solid.

But sometimes it can be hard to know exactly why and how different decisions have been made, and this often leads to speculation and concern.

Steve Stretton from the Wests Tigers Podcast reached out to Wests Tigers Chair, Lee Hagipantelis with some concerns and questions over an array of different topics.

This led to Lee and Steve sitting down for a wide-ranging discussion, with the Chair happy to have Steve relay the key points from the meeting.

On this special edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast, Garry Watson and Steve discuss what was said at that meeting, including key topics such as:

    • How does the board actually work?
    • Clarification of the ownership structure of Wests Tigers
    • Is the board divided along old Balmain/Wests lines?
    • How much support does Wests Ashfield offer Wests Tigers?
    • Is it a conflict of interest that Lee is Chair and major sponsor?
    • The coaching changes and how they came about
    • Will Isaiah Papali'i be in Tigers colours next year?
    • What is the identity of the club moving forward?
We hope you enjoy this special edition version of the pod and that it answers some questions for youSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

And just like that, the Wests Tigers Podcast hits a massive double century! It's the two-hundredth edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast with Joel Helmes being joined by Steve Stretton, Garry Watson, and Declan McCutcheon for a look at the latest Wests Tigers news and issues. The first issue on the agenda is the possible/probable loaning of Wests Tigers veteran winger David Nofoaluma to the Melbourne Storm. Is this a good move? What's in it for us and is this the beginning of the end for 'Nofa' at the club? There's also a segment surrounding the rumoured/mooted recruitment of former Wests Tigers players Aaron Woods and Nathan Brown, along with Charlie Staines from the Panthers. And would Josh Schuster make a good inclusion into the 2023 Wests Tigers squad? There's a preview of the Wests Tigers' big clash with the Broncos this Saturday night. And Eddie might not be on board for this edition, but there's still a Wests Tigers Quiz! We hope you enjoy this big milestone edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Dudded. There's no other word that can be used to describe the treatment of the Wests Tigers on Sunday evening. The Townsville farce, which saw the Tigers record a loss, when we had actually won, will be recorded into Wests Tigers and NRL history. On this edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast, Eddie Otto, Garry Watson, and Declan McCutcheon take a look back at the now infamous passage of play at the end of the match against the Cowboys. What does the "loss" mean to the club? And should we continue to pursue legal action over the decisions that were made? Aside from the controversy, Eddie, Declan and Garry also take a deep dive into what was probably our best performance of the year so far. What has finally got Daine Laurie up and firing? And the boys take a look at some of the rumours doing the rounds - including one that indicates Jackson Hastings is set to pack his bags and leave Concord. It's been a tough few days for the Wests Tigers, let's hope better times are coming soon!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
