Kicking off our glorious journey through the rabbit hole, we dove headfirst into the nostalgic, pre-smartphone era. Remember Cha Cha? That free texting service we used before our pocket-sized computers could connect to the internet? A time when 'Googling' required actual typing and patience, not just a quick question to a voice-activated assistant! Ah, the good old days of being blissfully ignorant to the future of autocorrect fails.

Now, brace yourselves, because we zoomed right from vintage tech to talking about none other than Donald Trump. Oh yes, the ex-president and his ever-present controversies! Today's hot topic? His looming federal case. Will he be going to jail? Spoiler alert: probably not. But we sure had a good laugh at the idea of him sharing government secrets in the bathroom, all the while, holding onto the location of extraterrestrial life and hidden treasures.

What's more terrifying than aliens, you ask? How about orcas launching orchestrated attacks on ships and making surprise visits to the California coast? Who knew Free Willy had such a dark side? This gave "having a whale of a time" a whole new meaning.

Our journey then took a detour via Pennsylvania, where we explored its high taxes and tolls. We shared a collective sigh over late fees and questioned the logic of some people's aversion to paying tolls. (Come on, folks, it's not like it's a troll under a bridge demanding gold.)

Props to them for standing up for what they believe in! We also took a peek at the Target Pride merch, prompting a revolutionary proposal for Pride sections at both ends of the stores. Next up, we had a round of TikTok talk. From debating a potential federal ban to discussing Vookum's watch flipping business, we covered it all. Plus, we had a good chuckle over some peculiar trends, like faking your death and arriving at your own funeral in a helicopter. In the absurd sitcom of US politics, our favorite villain, Donald Trump, has outshone himself. From his escalator ascent to fame, he's been a hyperactive Pinocchio, a world-class Jekyll & Hyde, and a puppeteer extraordinaire. His showreel includes dual impeachments, indictments, and a legal saga fit for 'Law & Order'. He converted the Capitol into a reality TV spin-off after his unique interpretation of the 2020 election. He treats the truth like a vampire treats garlic and handles classified documents like Pokémon cards. He's also an intern in dictator-coddling and lies effortlessly.

Surprise! He's the 2024 Republican presidential nomination poster boy. This prompted CNN to air an hour-long town hall - a cringe-worthy rerun of 'Trump Show,' and a critique of CNN CEO Chris Licht’s plan to play Switzerland of news outlets. Licht's charm offensive to win back Republican viewers seems like bringing a squirt gun to a forest fire. The winners? Power-hungry right-wing mad hatters and those enduring fascism for a tax break. The rest of us? Haunted by the ghost of the 2015 escalator ride.

Blaming CNN solely for Trump's rise is like blaming a sunburn on the sun while skipping sunscreen. Zucker, CNN's then-president, saw Trump as a golden goose. CNN, like a cat chasing a laser pointer, aired Trump’s rallies excessively. The joke was on them when Trump's rhetoric found a fan club. CNN’s decision to air Wednesday's town hall was like trying to find meaning in a David Lynch movie. The town hall was a rock band reunion tour, with Trump belting out his greatest hits. His charisma shone, and he outmaneuvered moderator, Kaitlan Collins, who was as effective as a spatula against a rhino. CNN’s decision to host this spectacle was as wise as using a sieve to bail water. If this is a sneak peek of CNN's 2024 coverage, Licht, pass the popcorn.

Picture this: Utahns wake up to find their beloved adult entertainment site, Pornhub, has gone AWOL, and they have their state legislators to thank for it. I can almost hear the collective sigh of disappointment echoing across the state.

State Sen. Todd Weiler, the man behind the legislation, received an earful from an angry Utah man whose dreams of accessing Pornhub were shattered. Weiler's bill, which goes into effect soon, forces porn sites to verify users' ages to keep minors away from adult content. If they don't comply, parents can sue these companies for damages.

In response, Pornhub took a bold stand and started blocking access to all Utah users. They even posted a statement (and a SFW video starring adult performer Cherie DeVille) explaining the situation. "Hey Utah, it's not us, it's your elected officials," they essentially said.

The adult entertainment giant argues that demanding ID cards for age verification isn't the most effective solution. It could actually put children and users' privacy at risk. Instead, Pornhub suggests using device-based verification for a safer, more private experience.

But until a better solution comes along, Utahns are left out in the cold as Pornhub disables access statewide. To rub salt in the wound, the company urges Utah residents to contact their representatives and demand better age verification methods. Good luck with that, folks!

It's worth noting that Utah isn't the only state to impose age verification laws. Louisiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi have similar legislation, with ten other states considering proposals. So, what does this mean for the future of adult entertainment in the US?

In a bizarre twist, Pornhub's parent company, MindGeek, developed AgeID, one of Europe's leading age verification applications. That's right – the same company that's blocking Utahns has a solution to the problem in their back pocket.

Meanwhile, on Reddit, users are sharing tips on using VPNs to bypass the ban, while others are poking fun at Utah's so-called "small government" philosophy. It's hard not to see the irony in the situation.

At the end of the day, Utahns are left scrambling for a fix while Pornhub remains stubbornly out of reach. Will the state find a solution to this age verification conundrum? Only time will tell. Until then, Utah residents will have to find other ways to, uh, entertain themselves.
