Well, folks, it looks like Donald Trump is really making history - as the first-ever US president to be indicted! And what's he been charged with, you ask? We don't know yet, the indictment is still under wraps. But he's expected to appear in court in Manhattan for his arraignment soon.
So, can he still run for president in 2024? You betcha! Being under indictment or even convicted doesn't stop him from throwing his hairpiece in the ring. And of course, Republicans are rushing to his defense, while Democrats are saying he should respect the legal system.
All we can say is, let's grab some popcorn and watch this reality TV show play out. It's gonna be a wild ride, folks!
THAT'S NOT ALL - We kick off the episode with...Donald is back and he's got a brand new single! And no, it's not a cover of "I Will Survive" (though we wish it was). Instead, it's a charity track called "Justice for All" recorded with a choir of men held in a Washington DC prison for their parts in the deadly January 6 insurrection he incited. Yeah, you heard that right, Trump is teaming up with his jailed buddies to make some music.
The song is now available on all streaming platforms, so you can listen to it on repeat while wondering what on earth went wrong with this country. According to Forbes, the song was produced by a major recording artist who was not identified, but we have a feeling it might have been someone with a history of questionable decisions (cough cough, Steve Bannon).
The track features Trump reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, while the choir sings The Star-Spangled Banner. We bet it's a real tearjerker! But don't worry, it's not all sad, it ends with a chant of "U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A!" Because nothing screams "charity single" like chanting "U-S-A!" over and over again.
Critics are not impressed, with one researcher calling it the most repulsive song ever made. But let's be honest, it's not the first time Trump has been accused of being tone-deaf. In fact, we're pretty sure he thinks "Justice for All" is a sequel to his reality TV show, "The Apprentice".
So, if you're looking for some new music to add to your playlist, look no further than "Justice for All". Just don't be surprised if you feel the sudden urge to storm the Capitol after listening to it.
