To kick off the episode we start with a little bit of Disney news! As the slap heard around the world featuring Will Smith is still in the public eye, Disney is thinking to replace him in the upcoming Aladdin movie. With, none other of course, the Rock.
Arby's introduced to us a Wagu Beef Burger. Let me just start my review off by saying - the burger isn't grilled. Arby's seems to be all about it though with their CEO saying this:
“Boring burgers are a fast-food staple, so Arby’s felt compelled to raise the bar with a Wagyu Steakhouse Burger. Instead of focusing on making billions of mediocre burgers, we’re taking a stance on high-quality meat that deserves to be cooked properly,” boasted Arby’s chief marketing officer Patrick Schwing in a statement. “As the meat experts, we’ve spent over two years of dedicated research and development to deliver a premium burger that redefines what’s possible from a drive-thru. Overdone burgers are over and done.”
Next of course we have to talk about Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey. With the copyrights up the characters take a twisted turn as Christopher Robin heads off to college, the Pooh bear & side-kick pig don't like it. So they start eating everyone and everything in sight. Literally.
Waterfield, who also wrote and co-produced the film, “Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey” will see Pooh and Piglet as “the main villains…going on a rampage” after being abandoned by a college-bound Christopher Robin. “Christopher Robin has pulled away from them, and he’s not [given] them food, it’s made Pooh and Piglet’s life quite difficult.”
“Because they’ve had to fend for themselves so much, they’ve essentially become feral,” Waterfield continued. “So they’ve gone back to their animal roots. They’re no longer tame: they’re like a vicious bear and pig who want to go around and try and find prey.”
“Because of all the press and stuff, we’re just going to start expediting the edit and getting it through post-production as fast as we can,” said Waterfield. “But also, making sure it’s still good. It’s gonna be a high priority.”
Finally, we discuss the never-ending battle with the HOA. This time, the landscaping company has not mowed our grass but 1-3 times ever. So now it's up to me to hire my own private company to get our grass mowed! But before we do so, please join me in the riveting review of the HOA's quarterly newsletter they had to put together instead of dealing with real issues within their community.
As an added bonus this week we talk about Gary V and the insane speech he gave to multiple people and cameras at his VeeFriend NFT convention VeeCon. Where owners of said NFT could attend and see Gary V on and off stage to spew more positivity down their throats while simultaneously pocketing over $100,000,000 of their dollars via his NFT project. Oh and by the way, VeeFriends NFT 3.0 ft. Snoop Dog - Coming Soon!
