In this episode, Levi starts off with some fun facts about the 1998 Disney film, The Parent Trap. We recently bought it on DVD and thought we'd give it a watch. Meghan claims she ALWAYS KNEW Lindsey Lohan NEVER had a twin. I just found out there was only ever 1 Lohan sister in that movie 5 years ago!? Also, for those of you living under a rock, here's what The Parent Trap movie is all about...After a whirlwind romance, vineyard owner Nick Parker (Quaid) and wedding dress designer Elizabeth James (Richardson) got divorced in the late '80s. With Nick staying in California and Elizabeth returning to her native London, they agreed to take custody of one daughter—and keep the news a closely guarded family secret. Their plan backfired years later, as they coincidentally sent Annie and Hallie to the same camp. Together, the twins devised a plan to not only meet the other parent—but to reunite them. Distance aside, there was one major problem: Meredith Blake (Hendrix), Nick's young fiancée.
I then move on to Euphoria. The show EVERYONE is talking about. The bit starts with a rumor of the show being canceled for season 3, but everyone knows it's coming back in 2024. I just don't like it. The glorification of drugs for teenagers doesn't bother me, what bothers me is knowing this is exactly what my son and his friends will be doing in 10 years, if not worse.
