The Colorado Avalanche hit the ice for the first time since the All-Star Weekend as they travel to Pittsburgh for the first of a three game road trip against the Penguins.

What can we expect from the Avs to start the 2nd half of their season and what can we expect from Pittsburgh, maybe the most up and down team in the league?

The Avs will welcome back Bowen Byram, who has been out since November with a lower body injury, and they will welcome back, again, Val Nichushkin, who just can't seem to get a stretch of games under his belt.
