Two weeks later you’re still texting non-stop with no intentions or plans to meet ever and now it’s like you’re back in 6th Grade again with a pen pal you weren’t sure you wanted in the first place. Ouf. How to navigate the dreaded online dating shift that all too often can lead to pen pal city.

This is a touchy subject for many parents. We want to instill independence and confidence in our children to prepare them for life...but we need to grow up too and prepare ourselves for the inevitable, that being, that they will branch out on their own one day. How YOU will handle it is just as important as how THEY will handle it. Time to grow up, relinquish some of the control, trust our kids and believe in our ourselves, that we’ve done enough in our part to prepare them. And if we feel we haven’t?....that’s ok, it’s not too late.

C’mon. Today we are talking about acceptance and taking people at face value, your job is not to change someone to reach their potential...that is THEIR job! Well, I’ve put it off long enough...time to get real about procrastination. Why do we do it? How can we curb it? How to recognize some behaviours around it and why it’s such an individual thing in the approach we have to take in order to tackle it! Here’s some motivation for you!

Hot topic? Or taboo topic? Today we are arguing a few major points on ethical non-monogamy and whether these types of relationships deserve the stigma around them. Can open relationships really work? This is just my take on the subject and my opinion is whatever floats your boat!

Today we’re talking about our perception of achievement as a spectrum and what might look like overachievement to some, may look like regular achievement or even underachievement to others. The main things to consider here is when we are doing all the achieving, who are we doing it for first?
