Just as physical circumcision symbolizes a blood covenant to produce after God’s covenant with Abraham, not the curse of the garden, circumcision of the heart symbolizes our covenant under the blood covering of Jesus. We bury our old nature, sins, iniquitous structures, and generational curses in the water, and rise up renewed in our true identity and new nature.
