Without a clear destination with anything we do, our chances of a successful outcome is really limited.

It's no different with parenting.  As a parent, what’s the destination for your children? What kind of adult do you want your children to become?

When we have a clear idea of the end goal, the day to day has more meaning because we understand that each interaction and behavior either contributes to the end goal or it doesn't.
