FTAdviser has published the 2020 edition of its Top 100 Financial Advisers, ranking the top firms in the UK, and this week digital editor Damian Fantato spoke to two firms in the top 10 about how they had managed their way through this unusual year and how they had continued to grow.
He was joined by Henry Denne, head of financial planning at Punter Southall, and Scott Stevens, head of recruitment and acquisitions at Quilter.
They discussed which factors a financial advice firm would have needed to have to get through 2020 successfully and how they had managed to grow despite a global pandemic and a national lockdown.
After this they discussed what they had learnt from 2020 that they would carry into 2021 and beyond to help their firm grow and how they envisaged their firms changing during 2021.
Then Damian was joined by Financial Adviser editor Simoney Kyriakou and senior reporter Rachel Mortimer to discuss how the Top 100 was put together and what impact the coronavirus pandemic had had on the advice profession.
