Just after the incredible success of Shilese Jones at the 2022 World Championships, Nicole chats with one of her coaches, Brett Wargo. Last week, we left off just before hearing what happened, from Cecile's point of view, at the Tokyo Olympics. She takes us moment by moment of the monumental Team Finals as well as the day's after. She discusses expectations versus the reality of Elite gymnastics and maneuvering first-time situations.

Cecile Landi is best known for coaching Simone Biles, Jordan Chiles, Madison Kocian, and Alyssa Baumann. This episode was recorded smack in the middle of 2022 World Championships and includes discussions of getting the call that Jordan Chiles would return to do all 4 events for World's team finals despite falling in Qualifications, the journey of Melanie de Jesus dos Santos to WCC, and Cecile's own experience training in Marseille in the 90's and how that affects her current coaching methods.
