In this episode Carli Jo is coming on the podcast to share both of her birth stories! Her first birth was an uncomplicated pregnancy followed by a 34 hour labor. During her second pregnancy she found out she had a clotting disorder, gestational diabetes, and low platelets. This second pregnancy Carli Jo had an extremely rapid labor and BARELY made it to the hospital!

November 01, 2021 EP 84: Preterm Labor and Birth at 24 Weeks with Sabrina Lopez
In this episode Sabrina Lopez shares her birth with her son Bryxton. Sabrina shares about how her OBGYN’s never listened to her concerns until at 24 weeks and 3 days she went into labor and delivered! She drove 45 minutes to the hospital after having cramping and bleeding, when she got there she was 10cm and birthed her son shortly after! Sabrina and her husband were told their baby had less than a 50% chance of making it past 24 hours, but he did! After a 105 day NICU stay Bryxton came home without oxygen support or a feeding tube! Today he is 2 years old and a miracle!

In this episode Brianna Hodson is coming on the podcast to share the birth of her daughter Sophie! Brianna shares about how she had a retroplacental hemorrhage and went into preterm labor (that was eventually stopped) caused by kidney stones. At 39 weeks she developed a severe headache caused by preeclampsia which led to a 3 day induction! Other things we mention are yoga, covid during pregnancy, Red Raspberry Leaf tea, dates, the miles circuit, and induction medications such as cytotec/Misoprostol, pitocin, and a cooks/foley balloon.

In this episode Hailey Johnson comes on the podcast to share all about her pregnancy and birth! Her pregnancy came as a total surprise, however Hailey felt confident and truly enjoyed her pregnancy. At one point she got very sick - which she found out was a possible Listeria infection. She was closely monitored the rest of her pregnancy as she was now considered "high risk". Haileys little girl stayed breech her entire pregnancy, and when she went into labor a month early she chose to avoid an external version and opted for a cesarean section. Postpartum Hailey shares her breastfeeding and postpartum depression journey with such a positive outlook!
