Coming Soon: (As of Winter Term 2021)

A project that is in the works, is the renaming of the street that the NASCC is located on. Currently the street is named Jackson St. after Andrew Jackson a U.S. President who took part in creating a legacy that does not need to be celebrated or memorialized. If you are interested in pushing this project forward, please reach out to the President's Office to make sure that it stays on top of the agenda. You can also reach out to the NASCC to be involved in the process of what the new street name should be, once the project moves past the City of Portland & PSU's President's Office.

  • Demystifying Therapy

This week we’re joined by Cindy Marino, PsyD. A Clinical Psychologist based here in Portland and an alumni and professor here at PSU! We dive into the topic of therapy and aim to pull back the curtain of the therapeutic process and explain just what all those acronyms mean!

For those of you psychology nerds out there, the class we reference within the episode is:

PSY410 TOPIC: Clinical Psychology, Instructor Cindy Marino

A wonderful class that gives a magnificent overview of what to expect in pursuing a career in psychology fields. Dr. Marino does an excellent job of giving information that applies to the interests of the class and is amazing at answering questions. 10/10 one of my favorite undergrad classes.
