What's Your Mount Rushmore?

The perfect movie soundtrack compliments the movie with every scene, to the point where you couldn't imagine any other song playing right at that moment. We know these songs and movies so well, in some cases you can name a song from the movie and we'll tell you the exact scene where that song was being played!

In addition to adding an element to the movie, a great soundtrack lives on its own outside of the movie. Some of these soundtracks sold millions of copies on vinyl, cassette and/or CD. And one of our picks in particular has sold more than 25 MILLION copies! 😲

Families are often at the heart of many TV shows. And on some shows the dads are the center of attention, whether they deserve it or not! This is particularly true in sitcoms, which make up a big chunk of our Mount Rushmore lists in this special Fathers Day episode.

Some of the TV dads we mention are great fathers, great husbands and all around great guys. Others... well... not so much. But in their own ways, each one of the dads entertained us!

Maybe it's because neither of us ever really grew up, but to us our childhood feels like it was just yesterday. In this episode we take a look back at those years and list off our Childhood Celebrity Crushes.

Some crushes were innocent, from our pre-teen years. Others sprouted a little later and may have been featured on posters in our teenage bedrooms. But all of them deserve to be remembered and discussed as we each choose our top four!

Dreaming about cars is about as American as baseball and apple pie. From the time you were a kid you probably have had at least a few dream cars, and maybe as an adult you've been lucky enough to own one of them. In this episode we went ALL IN on our dreams. Did we dream big? Hell yes. Especially Mark.

Neither of us have ever owned one of our dream cars and in the short term it's probably going to stay that way. But man... it sure is fun to dream!

We grew up eating cereals for breakfast and to this day will still have an occasional bowl. Whether it's the mascots, the TV commercials, the games on the back of the box or just the horribly unhealthy sugary coatings, there will always be something appealing about a good bowl of cereal.

This is a special episode with a special guest! We are joined by our old friend, Dave Ryan from the popular Dave Ryan in the Morning Show. Dave has been a Twin Cities staple on 101.3 KDWB for more than 30 years! Mark and Jon both worked with Dave for many years and were honored to have him join us.

Hosting the morning show on one of the country's longest running and most successful Top 40 radio stations makes Dave a perfect guest to discuss Female Pop Stars. Between the three of us we have some very obvious picks, but also some that you probably wouldn't guess. And one of us decides to take his list down a more rockin' path.

When you think of duos, musical acts usually come to mind. Hall & Oates, Sonny & Cher, Simon & Garfunkel. We're taking all those acts out of the mix and focusing on duos who work together in something OTHER than music. Some of our picks are real people, some are fictional characters. But all of them have entertained us over the years.

In this episode Mark gets completely surprised by a pick he didn't even consider, and immediately regrets not having them on his list!
