Are you stressed?  If you are looking for a way to bust stress out of your days one of the best things you can do is bust a move!  Yes, that is absolutely correct!  I refer to  busting a move, as "dance parties for one" and it works to get rid of stress.  Every.  Single. Time.  The solo dance party helps you to forget your troubles and to gain a fresh perspective.

When my heart needs to speak - I dance.  Solo.  In the kitchen.  In the living room.  Wherever.  I dance like nobody's watching, and they aren't because I am dancing by myself and doing whatever moves or steps I want to do!  There is something very spiritual about dancing that is so good for the soul.

Dancing gives you a feeling of power and combined with music stimulates the brain.  When the brain is stimulated you break the stress cycle.  You  change your energy and you immediately feel better.  

Bust a move - it is therapeutic due to the cognitive integration that occurs.   And what is even better is that this therapy is absolutely free!

Every mother has a wish for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. 
 "I hope you dance" was one of my mom's favorite songs that she shared with my daughter shortly after she was born.  But the song was always more than a song.  It was truly a wish my mom had for her children and grandchildren, and it became a meaningful motto for life.

This episode is dedicated to my mom who passed away 6 years ago.  I miss her every single day, but her love lives inside of me.  Her wish for me I carry with me every day.

"I HOPE YOU DANCE."

Life is short.  Treasure it.  Cherish it.  Live it. 

On this day and every day,  we honour the love of a mother.  It is a love like no other.
