In this section of Paul’s letter to the Romans, he is explaining that now that we have been justified by faith, we now have peace with God and freedom in Christ. But as he builds his argument, he can see the questions coming at him. Questions that are only natural to ask. His eloquent explanation helps us understand what it truly means to be free – a total dependance on God.
