A lot of people really want to do a podcast or they are doing a podcast and the thing that bothers them is that it’s quite a lot of work. Is it possible to find a way to make podcasting easier and more scalable?
Rumble Studio is an online Saas application that helps creators, businesses and agencies to create audio content like podcasts faster, easier and cheaper.
We use asynchronous interviews. It’s not live interviews but rather an automated interview where you prepare your questions in advance. You add them into Rumble Studio and or use one of our templates and then you can send a public link to one person or as many and each person who gets that link clicks it.
They go through and they get interviewed by Rumble Studio. They get their own version of the interview and the studio takes them through the interview questions one question at a time.
If they make a mistake they can redo. If they want to build up their answer over time, they can record multiple segments so it’s a zero pressure environment.
You can really think about what they’re going to say before they say it rather than just blurt out the first thing that comes into their head and then when they’re ready they move to the next question.
The creator then gets that audio back from one or multiple guests. They can put it together with your own audio, jingles or follow-up comments.
Then you just export it into one or more episodes.
We remove the silence, we level the volume, add some eq and make it sound as good as we can without any editing.
You get just a single link and you can send that individually on email, instant messenger or whatever. You can make it public, you can put it on your website, you can even put it on your social media if you dare and anyone who clicks that link will go through and get the same set of questions and produce audio content for you
You can actually create a permanent interview. We have customers right now who just set five questions, they put the link up and it just sits there for months, just gathering more and more information and audio content from the people as they click on the link.

Start from the idea that whatever you do must be a source of pleasure and joy for yourself and you also want to create a business that is aligned with who you are and how you function. Ideally, you want a business that lights you up.
In order to do all that the first thing that you have to do is to embody La Dolce Vita yourself, so everything starts from you. You impact everything around you, be it in business and be it in your private life as well.
La Dolce Vita can be something super luxury but also something very simple and actually it’s really about finding the simple pleasures in life and living the small pleasures every day.
If you can always be focused, energized and enthusiastic, it will allow you to have great ideas and also navigate through very challenging moments.
Just being a business owner is a challenge in itself. It’s like being on a roller coaster.
You have to be centered and you have to be at your best every single day.
You need to be vital and you need to have a lifestyle that supports your business.
Alternatively, your business should support your lifestyle too.
So we want to find ways that help you get more vitality in your day. It’s like your well-being , how you eat, rest and sleep.
Illumination has to do with the things that light you up.That means creativity, the right mindset, attitude and values.
It also includes pleasure. So we want to make sure that in your day there is always something that lights you up.
Techniques are like the hard part. It’s strategies and systems that help you do that. This could include time management, organization and setting boundaries which is a very important thing for entrepreneurs.
The asset is you. It’s your beliefs, skills and everything that supports you in your lifestyle.

The Pink Puzzle Incident (AKA My Bio) https://roadto3.com/the-pink-puzzle-incident/
Commission are active errors when you take an action which takes you in a direction that you don’t want to go.
You could also think of it as moving you away from the goal or it moves you towards the goal but not in a straight line.
Then there’s errors of omission. This is when you don’t do something when you could have done something.
It’s an error that is caused by abstaining from taking action.
If you give yourself a definition of success that is based on achieving a goal, what’s going to happen on a subconscious level is that you’re going to start prioritizing making errors of omission over making errors of commission.
If you take no action at all then you haven’t moved away from the goal. You haven’t gone the wrong direction. So you’re actually better off by staying exactly where you are than moving backwards or risking moving backwards.
If you’re not confident that you can move forwards or directly towards the goal you’re going to avoid moving altogether.
If you’re not confident, which is normal if you’re just starting a venture, you’re not going to be that competent probably because you’re at that beginning stage of learning and so if you have those definitions of success you’re going to avoid taking action over taking wrong actions. That’s the exact opposite of what you want to be doing.
The point of goals is to orient you in space and to provide a reference point.
Achieving a goal just for the sake of it will not make you feel satisfied in the long term. Goals work the best when they help you develop and get clarity in what you are doing.
Failure is all about prioritizing making errors of commission because that’s how you can actually see what direction you’re moving in and then reflect on it.
Then make a change and tweak things along the way. It’s going to give you signs that you are going in the right direction.
I define success as reflection and angular change. Conscious, angular change.
When I talk about reflection and angular change it’s a definition of success that requires me to prioritize making errors of commission over making errors of omission.
If you’re doing it consciously, it forces you to change as a person. It’s changing your orientations and direction. It’s not just gliding along with inertia without thinking about it. Guest URL

The Pink Puzzle Incident (AKA My Bio) https://roadto3.com/the-pink-puzzle-incident/
It’s sort of a running joke when you’re working full-time in a big corporation, you find somebody who’s your partner like somebody you can rely on that person that you meet at the water cooler.
That person who has your back, your work wife or your work husband.
I eventually decided that I did not want to give 12 hours a day to a company because I wanted to be with my kids but I still wanted to make money. I decided to work from home. I was literally taking any kind of job that I could to get the business off the ground.
What I noticed is that a lot of other people were taking that step out of the workforce and we’re talking 2005 now, not like last year. It was 20 years ago, when people were just starting to work at home.
I noticed that small businesses, the mom-and-pop shop who were just trying to get something going but didn’t have the money or the space in their business to hire somebody full-time but they still needed that person who could be their helper.
When you’re working at home, you’re sort of lonely. You don’t have a partner and you’re trying to do it all yourself. So they needed that virtual work wife. They needed somebody who could step in and help them and that didn’t cost them as much as a staff member would.
It’s that thing when you’re doing anything to get off the ground because you’re a scrapper and hustler. You’re gonna do whatever it takes to get the job because you need money.
You end up doing work that you don’t necessarily like doing.
That was what it was for me.
I was happy to be making the money and staying at home with my kids but I’m still not happy. The job isn’t fulfilling.
I sat down and I tried to figure it out. I made a list of the things that I hated and I just stopped doing them.
I stopped taking on the clients that I didn’t want and decided that I’m never going to do those things again for anybody.
I kept doing the work that I enjoyed and decided that I wanted to do more of that work for the clients that I enjoyed working with.
We all know that we need to do discovery calls to get people through the door. Your best chance of selling somebody your product is to talk to them personally about your product and nobody’s going to love your product more than you do so you’ve got to get people on the phone.
If you don’t close them on the phone, how are you going to follow up with them?
Everyone is happy to pitch but nobody likes doing the follow-up calls. It feels like begging or like being a used car salesman.
So I learned how to automate it. I set up some automation that’s going to send out an email or text message. It’s going to give that friendly reminder without you having to do it.
It saves a huge amount of time and generates business without you lifting a finger.

I was trying to do things like plan a podcast and blog posts and I realized that I was having a lot of difficulty even though I loved writing and I loved podcasts.
I was having a lot of difficulty in actually creating the content and it seemed really bland.
I realized that there were some problems here and one of those problems was that I wasn’t niched down anywhere near enough.
I wasn’t specialized. I was trying to create this content and I had such a broad range of clients. One of my clients was a mining company and one was a dentist. Another client was a retirement planning organization. I even had a client that was a magician for children’s birthday parties.
I was spread way too thin.
I was trying to create this content but you can’t become an authority when you are so broadly spread out.
That was my first insight into the idea that I needed to niche down and specialize. Figuring that part out unlocked a lot of the rest of it for me.
Everybody starts out as a novice of some kind. You might be really really smart but you don’t have a lot of experience. When you start out, one of the most important things to do is to have this winding path where you get this broad experience so you get to figure out what you like doing and what you’re good at. I have this winding road going from novice to where you become this expert.
At this point most people are these generalist experts and they do have a weakly defined niche like might say, “I’m a marketer”.
It’s not really that niched down. You might for example say “I’m a management consultant” but you don’t really have any kind of deep specialization.
When you get to be a generalist you have very low visibility but you’re very good at what you do. An awful lot of people are in this place. I call them invisible experts.
You don’t have external visibility so you don’t get a lot of inbound leads because people don’t really see you. So it’s only through those networking and word-of-mouth connections that you actually get business and most people actually choose to stay here.
I did a research project where I surveyed over a thousand consultants in the business management consulting field and most consultants. Most of them stay as a generalist and they get better at doing referrals.
There is another path which is to become a recognized authority in your field.
The advantage of doing that is that you start to get more inbound leads. You start to get people coming to you and seeing you because you’ve got this higher visibility.
You’re recognized as an authority. People know who you are, come to you pre-sold.
It’s much easier to work with them.
Sometimes when you get a referral, it’s a weak referral. You still have to pitch to the person.

When it comes to organic content or paid advertising I think it’s worth looking at the fact that you can build a community online without paid advertising to start and there’s a lot of things you can do organically to get out there.
You can interact and comment on other places that your audience and your target audience will be likely to be. That’s free, apart from your time which is not always free but that doesn’t cost your business any money at the time.
This is powerful especially for a small business, individual entrepreneur or start ups.
If you are more established you have customers and supporters that are looking to actually create content in your own community.
You could save a ton of time on new content creation and not worry about the expense of filming original design pieces by curating content from your supporters and followers as they share their own experiences with your business.
Create a challenge that people can participate in. Get them to share their submissions on your own platform, whether it’s using your hashtag or not.
You are able to use those submissions later.
If you can also put out content that’s impactful or informative that people can actually respond to, you can then remix those responses and those comments.
It’s just a matter of choosing content from 10 different hashtags within your niche and then commenting on nine posts every single day that you choose from that are maybe relevant to engage with.

The Pink Puzzle Incident (AKA My Bio) https://roadto3.com/the-pink-puzzle-incident/
In our businesses we’re dictated by what customers and consumers do in their behaviors and you know over the last few years there has been a growing expectation from customers in terms of getting immediate responses from businesses that they interact with.
The year 2020 was the first year that people spent more time in their messaging apps and their social media messaging apps like messenger and facebook or snapchat direct messages than they actually did in the main news feed.
It’s starting to overtake some of their behaviors and reflects what’s going to happen from a business side of things.
That’s why I started implementing chatbots for businesses to have more conversations and more profitable conversations with their customers.
The average conversation that businesses have with our chatbots can be up to 10 minutes long.
When you can engage prospects for that length of time you are able to really educate prospects about what you offer and how you can help them .
You are also building more trust with prospects and your brand and that increases the chance that they’re going to convert down the track.
It’s a huge opportunity for businesses out there just to increase metrics, collect and to create an omni channel presence where they’re available wherever the customer needs them to be.
One of our clients runs monthly competitions.
The way they work is they offer prize that they might win if they undertake certain actions on a social media post.
For Example”
This can work for increasing followers and engagement but we can do a lot more if we incorporate chatbots into the mix.
We link that post with an instagram chat bot so after they leave that comment we then say “we’ll send you a dm to confirm your entry”.
That message then pops up after that comment says, “thanks for your comment”
We then ask them to confirm their entry by entering in their email via a hyperlink to an optin page outside of instagram.
This allows you to gather information like your email or phone number.
We can automatically sync with any of your other external systems like aweber or a crm for example.
1) Focus On Building A Business That Reflects Your Authentic Self.
We really focus on creating a business foundation that’s aligned with who they are because I believe that the way you create your competitive advantage comes from you and who you are, your unique experience and your unique take.
2) Get Clear On The Customer Journey
We focus and get clear on your customer journey and we lead with value. So really understanding who you serve, how and their journey with you from the beginning, when you meet them to when they become clients.
It’s all based on the concept that I call “lead with value”. Creating win-win situations for your clients.
3) Planning And Executing
A plan that’s not executed well doesn’t do anything.
So you need to have a simple plan. When things get complicated it’s very difficult to implement plans consistently.
Consistency is important. So having a simple plan that you’re able to implement is crucial.
Some entrepreneurs get drawn into activities that feel more safe like perfecting the website forever or deciding on business cards or things like that that don’t really get you in front of your potential clients.
Getting clear on your messaging so that once your business grows you can successfully handle it.
Some of those actions might be building a team right or establishing certain processes and so on to prepare for growth.
You need to be ready to absorb the clients that will flow in.
There isn’t one magic formula to your marketing.
You just pick the marketing activities that resonate with you as long as that is also aligned with who their client is.
If your clients are not using tiktok, then maybe you should be on Facebook for example.

The Pink Puzzle Incident (AKA My Bio) https://roadto3.com/the-pink-puzzle-incident/
We found ourselves in a position where nobody was hiring so I started a web design business whose focus was on creating simple and effective websites for entrepreneurs and small businesses.
It turns out my sales skills sort of outpaced my web design building skills because before we knew it we had a functioning company that had a pretty good client following and so we decided to pursue that.
We were generating traffic, we were paying for ads and we were in a position to begin scaling.
The advantage we had being a new business, you’re not overly attached to your processes and you’re able to do some things differently which are going to allow you to scale.
It’s important to do that in the beginning so that you don’t get too big quickly, to the point where it’s going to be difficult to undo what you’ve got and get yourself free from the business.
We did paid ads, we did paid social media, we did organic and free social media.
We experimented with seo and outbound plus inbound sales.
Outbound would be like picking up the phone and cold calling local businesses where inbound would be having those customers come to you typically through paid ads and things like that.
Strategically what we did is we monitored their traffic generation capabilities essentially and really monitored the data to see which of these is out producing the others and then we narrowed that field down until we found things that were generally speaking outperforming the others. We tracked everything so we knew what was working.
Data that you get from google analytics from and facebook analytics is so specific that you can refine important things like pricing based on which offers are working best in your campaigns.
It’s important to have a well-executed process so that your sales folks can filter through the noise and they can identify which people want what service.

The Pink Puzzle Incident (AKA My Bio) https://roadto3.com/the-pink-puzzle-incident/
How Has Podcasting Impacted Your Business? When I first started, I decided I was going to talk about innovation in various aspects and look at it from the business, marketing and sales tactics mindset but then we expanded out into a lot of peripheral activities. I chose to reach out to a lot of the people that I had strong relationships with in my corporate career and they were spread all over the world and I thought the podcast is a great way to reconnect with those people and have conversations about what they're doing right now. Very quickly they introduced me to other people in similar situations to them and I started to realize this is a great way to learn stuff. I get to speak to an expert in their field for sometimes an hour and learn everything that I want to learn in that time by asking questions. I get to share it with my audience so the audience started to build up as I spoke about the podcast as we promoted it. After about episode 50 or so I started to realize that this was actually bringing me business. People were actually talking to me after the podcast guests were saying hey we need your help with something. They saw how I approached things and I liked the way I did that and so they thought you know they trusted me enough to allow me to help with other areas. Then I got very intentional about using podcasting as part of the marketing process.
