It was on Shabbos Korach 61 years ago, in 1962, when the Rebbe revealed the inner depth of what was Korach's mistake. 

As it turns out, Korach grasped one of the powerful ideas of Chassidus: The power of physical actions in the physical world. He glorified the technical and physical rituals of Judaism. But when you lose the soul, you can end up in the abyss. 

The Rebbe, in this historical Sicha, explains the two common errors people can make: The mistake of the spies who shunned the physical world; and the mistake of Korach who thought you can divorce Yiddishkeit from inner spiritual and emotional work.
